Franciscan Crab Restaurant Reviews
Hands down the best meal of our trip. Crabs, shrimp, delicious drinks! We can’t wait for our next trip to San Francisco, to return. The service was impeccable. The restaurant is accessible (there’s an elevator), the view of the bay is delightful. Not sure about parking, as we didn’t drive. The area is usually teeming with tourists, but there wasn’t a crowd on the day we went.
Came in a bit late. Took very long before anyone took our order and ran away again before we got to order main dishes. Forgot cutlery and seemed very distracted. Calamari starter was huge portion, but without any taste. Crab as main was okay, but far from great.

Checked out The Franciscan in San Franciscan, those views and the service, Top-notch! It’s like you’re dining right in a postcard with the bay all around you. The staff nailed it—super friendly and on point. But the food? Eh, it was just okay. Nothing stood out much, and it kind of felt like your typical touristy spot fare. If you’re all about those killer views and don’t mind the so-so eats, it’s worth a stop. Just don’t expect a culinary epic.
