Great addition to the outer Richmond. Food was fresh and left us feeling light :) Mushroom & Fish dumplings and Zucchini, Egg, Prawn dumplings were some of the best I’ve had in the city!

I'm shocked. I had no idea what to expect and it was incredible. The dumplings are fresh and made to order. Every we had (beef soup, pork pancakes, pork pot stickers, and beef and onion dumplings) was just excellent. I'd post a picture but I ate too fast.

This place serves the most amazing xiao long bao I've ever had. The skin is very thin and the filling is incredible.

Really really good authentic northern style dumplings! Everything is really fresh and super flavorful!Nothing beats dumplings, especially dumplings stuffed with chives. When you stay abroad for a long time, this is sometimes what you like. This store is very well done, thumbs up!

What a delicious spot! We came here after being at Land's End for a photo shoot. Everything was fresh and tasty. I'm sure it won't be long before people hear about this place! We got the cucumber salad, XLB, pan fried dumplings, and beef noodle soup. Everything was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly, ambiance casual and family friendly (which we love with a 2 year old). We'll def be back!

Tasty xlb with good soup inside. We also got marinated pig ear and zucchini, egg, and prawn which were good, too. Pretty easy to get seating on a Saturday night so far.

Came to Fuwa with 4 adults and 3 young children all under the age of 4. Very family friendly restaurant and the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. We got seated right away and they even reserved a table for our larger group. The food was very good, especially the dumplings and beef noodle soup. Will definitely come back mostly because of the very friendly service.

Came today earlier for lunch and ordered the beef pancake along with pan fried mushroom fish dumplings. The beef pancake was super flavorful and juicy with the perfect golden crisp. The pan fried dumplings flavor was perfect. The hot tea was nice for cold SF weather and service was prompt. Overall a solid recommendation for those who love dumplings and will be coming back to try the other filings. Also prices are super fair for the amount of food you get!!

The servers are very nice. I really like the xlb's.. they have thin skin, have a healthy amount of soup and have a really good flavor--def get it. Another winner was the boiled mushroom and fish dumplings... pretty meaty and had good texture. Unsure if it was an off day, but the broth in the beef noodle soup was bland, like hot water. I was so surprised due to the color of the soup. I had to dump almost all the hot sauce (not spicy/flavorful), vinegar and soy sauce to have some taste. Such a shame because the beef is really tender. Another miss was the beef pancakes.. the outer part was soggy/soft and the filling was sparse and lacked flavor. Very sad because I really wanted to like this place... stick with the dumplings. They're definitely good. And lastly fyi, the hot tea is $1.

Overall we had a nice experience. Food was good and the service was great. I wish I could give 4.5-4.6 but the options are 5 or 4, and 4 felt wrong. In the photos are the: xiao long bao, pot stickers, and the zucchini egg & prawns dumplings. The zucchini was definitely the best.

We went to eat at Fuwa Dumpling yesterday. We had the Pork Xiao Long Bao, Chive Egg Prawn and Pork Dumplings, and House Special Beef Dumpling Soup.First off, the restaurant is very clean and spacious. The people there were nice and attentive (well, they had just opened). There was a bit of activity while we were there around 7 pm Thursday evening. The food was very good. The xiao long baos and the dumplings were the best we have tasted. The wrapping on the xiao long bao was very thin but did not break easily, unlike others, with the broth not too bland but also not too salty. The (fried) dumplings were crispy but also juicy on the inside, and we liked that a lot. The noodles were not too soggy, and the beef was marinated well. This is definitely a restaurant worth recommending. We will be back soon.

Very clean and bright interior. Good selection of dumplings and noodles, with menu items very similar to those at Yuanbao Jiaozi. However, based on my first try at this place when they first opened, they do need to work on their dumpling fillings esp the zucchini shrimp one - too much juice that some of them broke or lost some of its original flavor. Pan fried Beef dumplings had too much oil inside. This place has a lot of potentials and I'm very willing to give it another try and hope they would be a lot better!
