This was my first visit here and we really enjoyed it.It's mostly a breakfast and brunch place although they do have lots of savory dishes as well.I had the N.I.C.E. Caesar salad with buffalo chicken and homemade dressing. It was excellent! I can't remember why they called it "nice".The french fries were awesome my husband had the reuben and the meat looked absolutely incredible and the sandwich was well assembled but the flavor just wasn't there in the pastrami.I had a glass of champagne and it was so good! They give you a very generous pour. The breakfast waffles and beignets looked amazing! We'll be back for those.

Just as good as the original! Best breakfast spot by far. This place is a San Francisco icon and has the best beignets around!

I love this place. Where else can you get perfectly sautéed fresh veggies with your omelette and biscuit? Nowhere that's where. Flavors are full and everything is seasoned perfectly. Nice staff and easy ordering system. I take it to go usually but on nice days I have enjoyed dining outside. Prices for homemade high quality eats are very good. Oh and have the beignets.

It's one of my favorite breakfast spots in SF. I'm so happy this place is open again. The food is still delicious. I came last weekend for breakfast. Then, the next day for my birthday (Super Bowl Sunday) then brought some family members on Monday. Everyone is so nice and inviting.

We arrived at Giuliana's around 10:30 am mid week. This little coffee shop was easy to get seated. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. They served coffee to us in a short time and suggested items to us to try. We ordered breakfast and lunch meals. The food was serve to us in 10 minutes. Our meals were nicely presented and warm. Coffee refills came as needed. The atmosphere was good and relatively quiet with 5 groups of patrons here. We would return again. Professor51

Popped in here yesterday for lunch when the Italian place around the corner was ignoring the customers on the waiting list even though there were empty tables. I had the shrimp and grits with cornbread. Having been to South Carolina and Georgia many times, I've had genuine shrimp and grits and this wasn't bad! It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. It's a huge portion (I should have taken a photo) so I probably didn't even get through half of it. Very cheesy but the cheese isn't baked into the grits - it's on top. The cornbread was delicious. I got the beignets with powdered sugar to go and was really excited to try them but they flew off my car seat and onto the floor when I had to brake for a dog running into the street so I never got to eat them unfortunately (the dog was fine!). I'd love to go back and try the chicken and waffles. The service was great - everyone in here was super helpful and lovely.

I came for breakfast with my oldest, that resides here, in SF.I asked for a "surprise " and was gifted delicious grits and ?.The shrimp were wild, not farmed and the grits creamy, as they should be.I hope they take my advice on maple syrup, I will be back the next time I'm town!Go, go you will have no regrets.

Fantastic diner breakfast that isn’t pretentious and gives you a neighborhood feel. Attentive staff, delicious food, and exactly what our neighborhood loves.

I had brunch here on a Saturday morning around 9 or 10 am. They were not super busy yet. They checked on us every couple minutes and it made us feel rushed and anxious to choose, order, eat, and leave! The food was alright. I had ordered cornbread on the side and it was super dry. Then I asked for a biscuit, they brought it towards the end. It was ironic given the amount of their follow ups to make us order. Unfortunately, I will not go back.

I had the pleasure to dine at this popular neighborhood favorite this past Saturday (1/13/24) with my three nieces. This gem of a diner is located in the Dogpatch neighborhood on 23rd St at Third in San Francisco's Potrero Hill district. The food and the service was exceptional. Chris, one of many welcoming friendly servers that made our dining experience most pleasurable is my new adopted nephew. The food is served hot, fresh and with generous proportions. I had the B. L. A. T. sandwich with country fried potatoes. My sandwich was delicious and the taters are to die for with just the right balance of crispy char on them. Stop by the next time you're in the area.
