One of the best restaurants in SFO chinatown. This is one of the ONLY restaurants to open early. After looking for breakfast and finding nothing opens Until 11am- We were not impressed by chinatown in SFO. Much better in other cities. But this place saved us! Good food and good service.

Prices have went up a little. A number 1 (the ?) ? with a drink is now almost 20 without adding tip. But it is a large bowl of pho with every type of beef inside. And be sure to try their beef stew pho which is a very different flavor profile. And bring next to the Portsmouth Square garage parking is not a problem. Just don't expect free parking (I don't think they validate... Ask?)Parking: Park in Portsmouth Square garage

A pretty good place if you wanna get some blended kind of pho, and I say this because it's not the same type of pho from a straight-up Vietnamese establishment. The owners here are likely just good chefs, who makes Chinese versions of pho. So if you want the real deal pho, this may not be the place for you! Anyway, this place gets busy. Bonus if you can speak Cantonese here, 'cause you'll get your order in once you're seated. They'll bring you a tea pot with your tea of choice and then you chill. My friends and I each got the Bun Bo Hue, which was pretty good, just wasn't what I was expecting personally. I like the true Vietnamese style, but their version here will fill the tummy. They have different pho bowls and Chinese-style plates. So you have a good choice. The restaurant is directly in front of Portsmouth Park, so if you're walking around Grant or Kearny Avenues, you'll be close by. As this is Chinatown, good luck with parking, or just take the Muni and walk over here. It's pretty conveinent to get here that way.

No frills pho place in chinatown perfect for a casual lunch! I ordered the smaller version of #2 on the menu and it was great! It was a good size (I can never finish regular size bowls of pho) and had great taste too :)

Excellent service!! Staff attended me well even though I was a party of 1 on a busy Chinese New Year’s Day. Their pho is phenomenal.

Got a nice hot bowl of pho here for a good price on for a quiet weekend lunch. It's a casual spot with lots of indoor seating, with many locals frequenting. While I've had better pho in my lifetime (e.g. the meat could be more tender), it's a good option for a quick bite in Chinatown.

This place has been around for years. It's located on a side street across the park in Chinatown. Every time I've been here, there's a short line outside or it's almost packed. This is your typical Asian restaurant, meaning don't expect decor to look like PF Chang's. The service is good. They brought out tea, menus & the food came out pretty fast. The staff was good. No complaints. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with friend spring rolls. It comes with a fish sauce (it's not fishy at all) that you pour over the noodles. It's really good. I usually order this or a pho noodle w/soup. Also, the fried spring rolls here are the best I've had compared to other Vitnamese restaurants I've been to. This place is really good. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place for locals and tourists.

You can't ask for better food at a great price . Fresh ingredients daily, you'll get your food within 5 minutes of ordering. . 35 years in business says it all. All of their noodle dishes and rice plates are great tasting . Highly recommend for lunch or early dinner .

Tasty food. We got there just before the lunch time so wasn't too busy. Food was good.
