This coffee place is from far the BEST in the mission district. I live in the Nob hill and walk all the way to Grand Coffee II for their flat white and for the smiles of the baristas !

Grand Coffee Too is a gallery with a coffee shop seamlessly integrated into it. There are limited seatings available, but if you come around late morning on a weekday you should be able to find a seat. Excellent latte, would recommend trying out their orange blossom orgeat add-on for something floral. Good music choices too. Would definitely come back when I'm in the Mission!

The coffee here is great. They have a variety of single origin and blended beans but unfortunately I had an unprofessional experience with one of the baristas.

This is my daily coffee spot. Usually get cappuccinos or a cortado, and it’s strong, rich and perfectly balanced. I also love their pineapple chaser they give with the cortados! An excellent touch!

I just had espresso at two coffee shops in San Francisco back to back because I couldn’t decide based on reviews. This espresso was on par with the ones I’ve had in Italy. Highly recommended. Served with a chaser of sparkling pineapple green tea.

No wifi, seats are limited. But coffee is amazing! Can’t have enough of their latte with oat milk + in house orange blossom syrup.

+ The best coffee, period! Every sip of my americano is filled dreamy aroma that is perfectly balanced with acidity, bitterness and sweetness! The creama floating on top of my coffee brings additional depth and satisfaction to the mouthfeel!- This is mostly a grab-n-go coffee shop since there aren’t any tables/chairs to sit and enjoy. It does have a pretty interesting art gallery. Good way to spend time looking at the exhibits while waiting for your coffee.

One of the best coffee places in the city (coffee quality-wise). I tried 5 other ones and this one had easily the best coffee!

Found my new fav cafe in the Mission. Located next to Alamo Drafthouse, the cafe is housed in a cool art space. Ordered a cappuccino ($4.75) with whole milk, which was delicious. Not sure what beans they use, but was the right bittersweet espresso to milk flavor balance. Also ordered a chocolate banana croissant ($5.75) which wasn't too sweet, but filling. They have seats at the coffee bar. Def not a work/study spot and more a chat with your friend/look at art spot.

One of the worst drinks I’ve had at a cafe in a while. I ordered a Cortado which is espresso forward with some steamed milk. The milk in this drink was just heated, not steamed at all, and there was no attempt at any kind of latte art. Because of lack of steam the milk texture was not smooth at all. The espresso was also under extracted and had a hint of unpleasant astringency. Really not a worthwhile experience for a drink that cost $6. The gallery inside the cafe was cool though.
