We have been coming here since they opened. Absolutely the best Indian, Nepalese restaurant we've tried in the city. We've now tried a lot of the menu. Can't say I have a favorite since all the dishes are so good. The tandoori shrimp is one of my usuals as well as the aloo gobi. I crave the garlic naan, it's so bubbly and has a great chew. The atmosphere is super nice, and everyone who works here are the best, great service!! I'm long over due from giving a review. I highly recommend this amazing, friendly restaurant.

This was my one man buffet I recently had at Ocean Indian. Everything was excellent. I had food for three days, lol.
Omg. Just went back after a year. Amazing place. Try the Everest Himalayan chicken. Lentil soup. We also tried chai tea masala. Chicken tikka masala. The prices are unheard of here for SF. Best on the area. And the taste is amazing!!! Must go to! Place is exactly the same after a year plus the staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Hands down, best Indian food in the Richmond District and perhaps in the City! We've dined in the restaurant and the staff is wonderful and we've also ordered take out. We have our favorites but always order something new and our favorites list is growing. Fantastic, locally owned business!!
I won't recommend this place at all if you're an Indian and like flavourful food. I have ordered a chicken curry which I honestly think is one of the worst I ate in a recent time. The spices were not properly blended and we can feel some and the other spices in almost every other bite. About service, I ordered 2 garlic naan for to go but ended getting only 1 naan and I got to know that only when I started my dinner at home. Ambiance looks decent when I went to pickup the food.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We usually order kadai chicken, chicken tiki masala, chow mein, and the chana palak. The owner and staff are so sweet. In the three years we have been eating here, we feel like we are part of the family.
