Making Music Crippled

I'm giving it 5 stars cause I feel like Jeromy is an idiot. I have never eaten here. I think he wrote too much so it wasn't even worth reading. :)

I was introduced to Green Olive through MealPal. The idea is the restaurant only offers 1 entree to the service. You reserve it in advance and pick it up using a mobile app during your appointment slot. Ideally, the food should be ready when you arrive. The meal was a gyro wrap. It's located on the 3rd floor of the Crocker Galleria. When I walked in, I immediately felt the hot temperature inside the restaurant. You basically feel like you are in a furnace. So I check in to receive my meal, but it's not ready. Not a big deal, other restaurants who use the service can usually get me food within 2 mins if it's not ready when I arrive. I didn't think it would be a difficult task; especially since the lunch rush was over after 1pm.I've been waiting for quite a while and I start to notice that people who ordered after me were getting their meals (other wraps and things). There was also another gentleman who checked in with MealPal, 5-10 mins after me. So we are waiting and waiting and finally, the first MealPal order is ready and I'm expecting to grab my lunch and go. However, the guy at the register gives the MealPal to the other customer who checked in after me. So I walk up and say "excuse me, If that is for MealPal I was here first." The other customer starts apologizing and tries to give me his wrap, but I told him it's okay. I was not upset at the other customer, he didn't know. It's up to the restaurant workers to keep track. The person working the register told me "it's not a problem, we have another one." While I ultimately got me food shortly after, it's the principle of the matter. The employees didn't seem to care, heck even the other customer was more apologetic. I came in first, ordered first, but got my food much later than many other customers who ordered AFTER me.Plus the wait was super long compared to every other MealPal restaurant I've tried. To top it all off, the wrap was just okay. The tomatoes looked like they were overripe and the meat was a little bland. With so many quality restaurants in SF for Mediterranean food, you can find better. I usually use MealPal as a way to test restaurants and if I like what I get, I will return without MealPal. Won't be coming back.

It's convenient. The staff is very friendly. My wrap was pretty plain, basically chicken and bread. I can't comment on the rest of the menu.

It's a great place to go for lunch but probably not ideal for a dinner date because of the seating and location. The food is tasty and they are generous with their servings.

I've been meaning to try this place because when I go to Ladle and Leaf, a lady gives out free samples of Green Olive's gyro. It is a small shop, with mainly the kitchen part and some napkins/utensils. I came around 12 pm and it wasn't too busy. There were a few people eating outside, but not too many inside. I was able to order immediately, and got a gyro wrap. I got the wrap mild, but you can also order it spicy. I saw that they had plates and other food too. They were really fast with cooking and I was out in like 5 minutes. The wrap seemed a little small, but I actually couldn't finish it! It was a little spicy, but not unbearable. The wrap had a lot more meat and sauce than I expected. I would come back again to eat this wrap. I'm not a huge fan of Mediterranean food, but Green Olive was good! They also had a cash back option through yelp, which was a nice surprise.

I was in for training and was a quick spot for lunch. I could not decide on a restaurant in the Crocker Galleria mall and the free tasting convinced me to give them a shot. I ordered the spicy gyro wrap. The lamb/beef meat was tasty and the sauce was not overly spicy. The wrap does not come with a side but is a decent portion.

I am super happy to write this review because it is well over due. I have been coming here for a while now and each time it is consistently really good. The staff is super friendly and the man who places your order is AMAZING. He treats every customer well and gives great service. The staff is quick to make your order to perfection and it is consistently good. My favorite is the gyro plate. Great flavor and the amount of food will def our you in a food coma. I also was able to try their falafel (thanks for throwing a piece in for me to try Green Olive it was delicious.) The falafel here is perfectly crispy but moist on the inside with great flavor. It can get pretty busy but I've never had to wait super long. It's a perfect place to get a quick bite to eat that will keep you full for the rest of the day. Can't wait to go back for more.

Highly recommend their salads! The chicken is juicy and not dry! The tahini sauce and sumac spice on the salad made it so unique! YUM! The shawarma was a perfect mix between healthy and comfort food!

The portions are huge but I am disappointed. I got the chicken plate and it legit just taste bad.... I had to trash it. The chicken was actually gross, but the hummus, pita and rice were okay.

This place is not consistent! 1st time wrap was good. 2nd time time coming here. Food was not good. Not even presentable. Everything piled on top of each other. See photo! Rice was so mushy it had too much water tasted like pourage. Pita bread placed on top of hummus got all wet and mushy. Tried to tell owner but he didn't seem to care. Didn't offer credit or another dish. I'm not coming back!!

Got the chicken shawarma wrap from MealPal. One of my go-tos for MealPal. Great flavor on the meat and the hummus. Perhaps too many red onions but I should've just asked for light onions. Worth a try. Hummus is bomb!

It's a dependable spot for workday lunch - fast and efficient but pretty run-of-the-mill. For $8+ you can get a variety of wraps with toppings like falafel, chicken shawerma, or gyro and they're pretty decently sized for lunch. They can get a little sloppy and one-note after a few bites. They warn you that the hot sauce is spicy and they are not kidding - it's got quite a kick. If you're coming up the elevator at Crocker, you're probably getting a sample from Green Olive. Have a try and visit them if you like it. They're not bad but there's better Mediterranean lunchtime eats in the FiDi.

I chose this spot on random when I wanted something close to work for lunch. What a gem! The falafel plate was great! Their stuffed grape leaves were filled with flavor and I loved their babaganouj and hummus. So glad I stumbled upon this place!

Superb taste and quality. Thanks for bringing me in Ritual APP. The free sample lady by the stairs also influenced me stopping by. The meat was too tasty to turn down. I will he returning
