The line woman who is always there outside is absolutely horrendous. Every time I've visited, she was incredibly rude to either me or others there. I've witnessed her screaming at patrons that they're drunk, rudely telling me I've entered the wrong way of the line and forcing me to exit even though there was no one in line at all, and threatening to not let people in. She is extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, and makes everyone uncomfortable. Solely because of her behavior I refuse to come back.

Worst club I've ever been to hands down. The staff including the cashier, bartenders, and security are all super rude. Besides the staff being rude it's just a creepy club overall and I felt unsafe being there so I left early. There was a lot of creepy dudes. My friend got groped by one of these guys and told security about it but they didn't do anything at all. There's a bunch of other clubs around this one. Just go to those instead.

Hacyon bookings are 10/10. You are not going to find better djs than halcyon in sf. Venue is small but cool and makes you feel like you're in a spaceship. Music is 10/10 which makes the party what it is.

Horrible experience. Lady in box office scammed my friends by overcharging them. I paid $15 while they paid double the amount per entrance. She accepted cash or Venmo, which is not normal for an established business. She might be pocketing some of the money.

As somebody who naturally dreads club bathrooms, the bathrooms are, well, practical bathrooms. There is a coat check. There is also an upstairs balcony/terrace that is accessible for those truly signature events. The audience at Halcyon is definitely more international so there is always a destination in mind! If you have good intentions, you will make meaningful connections at Halcyon. Sometimes you don't even know when you're in a mood and that's fine, too, but it's crazy how almost every San Francisco club immediately picks that up to deliver us an experience we deserve if that makes any sense. If you live in San Francisco, Halcyon has accessible dynamic pricing when it comes to admission, beverages/libations/bottle service if you wish to witness the heartbeat from the DJ Booth on stage. What is quite brilliant about the sound system at the club is that it sounds divine on ground floor, but there is this magic equalizer where everybody in the venue gets to receive the blessings of nightlife- so need to feel a certain way if you're not on stage--- because the sound is distributed in the way that is a universal heartbeat.

Without question, the best sound in San Francisco is at Halcyon. If you're an audiophile, this is the place to listen to music. I love that the team that runs Halcyon is also top-notch; respectful security that keeps it safe, an awesome owner, great ticket person (shoutout Jules). I really enjoy coming to this night club. I always feel like I am transported to a European Dicotech. The friendly security guard always greets me with a hug and a smile. I use this club as a safe space for me and my friends. It's rare to find a female owned night club and it shows. Thier talent is always top notch. No other night club in SF with a sound like theirs. I can't wait to go back.

I love this club so much! The staff are always so welcoming, Teresa who helps with the door is one of the funniest most honest people I've come across in the club scene, love her energy and enthusiasm every time I come here. Halcyon doesn't feel like every other club in the city, it's intimate and the dis they book here are some of the best in the underground scene. You honestly feel like you've been transported to an underground club in Europe as soon as you walk through the door. Also the business is female run and the crowd is always very diverse, you can tell the people that come to this club are here for the music.

***BEWARE OF VIOLENT SECURITY GUARDS***Do not go to this club. I was assaulted by a crazy security guard and the bar did nothing. The police investigated and the club hid evidence. You are employing dangerous individuals and you should be shut down due to your criminal negligence.
