This is one of the only real barbecue spots in SF. Food is great. Best service is from Yara. We come here frequently, and she is always super welcoming and social. She helped us pick up a new client tonight just being herself. Asterid is great as well...and since people make places, they're why we go.

First time cue here and everything was though not slamming, was solid. The tubs could've been more tender though the flavor was awesome. The chicken could've been more juicy, but again the crispy outer and glaze made up for it. The beans I was hoping would've been more thick and smokey like baked beans, which these are not, and the collard greens were good but watery. The macaroni salad solid and potato salad almost had a homemade quality, my favorite thing about it was it was not gloppy with a ton of mayonnaise, but I would've loved more celery or crunch or some other texture in it, e.g. relish or eggs, etc. The interior is a bar like vibes with a ton of televisions and the service super friendly and warm, attentive and on the ball. Every single person there was not phoning it in, and we loved the customer centric attitude. Because we went at an off peak hour, it was pretty quiet, though it's easy to imagine that at peak times and/or when there's a game on, the place gets rolling and raucous. We found plenty of street parking with meters close by, and it's fun to see all the design stores around this neighborhood!

I have had an opportunity to visit here 2 times. Both times the food and service were great. The restaurant has a sports bar vibe. The food gives a home cooked feel. I was very pleased especially with the collard greens. It had the down south flavor I love. I also like that the sauces are on the side. I had a chance to speak Joshua who explained the inspiration for his recipe's. He actually took the time to sit and chat with us. The food left a lasting impression and a craving for more. Can't wait to go back and experience Happy Hour!

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the smoke buddy player. And it says for 2-3 people. They actually mean it. So many place state for 2-3 people. Thye mean kids I guess. This place on the other hand was really nice portions. The cocktails are too notch as well! Had an old-fashioned and a hickory bramble. Both were extremely well crafted.

I would give zero it was an option. I was looking forward to having BBQ. In the end, I cannot comment on the food only the service. I have allergies so I asked the waitress how the beans are prepared. She was very annoyed I was asking questions and then she basically said if you have allergies you should not eat here. So, I didn't. I get better service from fast food restaurants!

The service was horrible. I asked for more bbq sauce and the server had to go to the kitchen and get it. Upon going to the kitchen she "rolled her eyes" like I wouldn't notice. She brought the sauce and acted in disgust. She never came back to provide any service after that. Having to walk 10 feet, she acted like isn't in her job responsibilities. I asked another individual her Name. Jara doesn't deserve to in the service industry. Absolutely embarrassing for the establishment to employ such a nasty individual. I will never come back and don't recommend anyone to either.

This was my fiancé and my second time coming here and it was even better than our last! It's hard to find good BBQ in San Francisco AND great quality drinks. Customer service was A1 both times. But Yada made this time even that much better with all her suggestions! Omg the Chef Lalu definitely takes pride in his BBQ! He even came out to see how we enjoyed it! (I hope the owner knows the quality of staff he has here!) We came on a Thursday where they have pastrami for that one day only and OMG IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. Our drinks were amazing! If you're looking for Good bbq, great atmosphere, attentive service and the perfect drinks look no further! We'll definitely be back!

Sometimes you wanna like a place but they don't let you. Cool joint with a decent count of local brews on fresh taps. Served me 7?! bits of buffalo wings missing the drumstick pieces lol. I stared at it, then locked eyes with the bartender. Do I ding her on the tip? Not gonna complain more than that, but I'll ding ya here. Come onnn

Really good barbecue food. Had it catered from a coworker with several diff meat and side options. Think they are local also so give them a try if you are up for some heavier food.

Really great food for good prices. The service was really good.....just a bit slow since one guy was seating, serving, and making drinks (on a Saturday night.....someone didn't show for their shift) He did amazing, though. Our order consisted of the brisket plate, brisket sandwich, and brisket chili cheese fries. The BBQ sauces were legit. Their tap beers were perfectly poured and served at at the right temps. We will definitely go back to try more items in their menu.

There is very few bbq restaurants in SF, so glad to try this out. I walked 20 mins from the Orpheum but it's in a nice area. Good choice since we bought tickets to MJ the Musical after dinner. Solid bbq pork ribs but I didn't like the sauces. They only had a mustard tasting and spicy bbq sauces, but not my favorite honey bbq. My friend and I shared the half rack ribs $32, and ordered 2 corn muffins $2.50 each. The ribs doesn't come with any bread without ordering the corn muffins. Or it's $8 for 2 sides. A lot of TVs showing sports but seems like they muted the sound that night cause I couldn't hear any of the Warriors game. Very high stools and bar like atmosphere. Looks like a fun place to watch a game if they turn up the sound.

My manager and I went there to celebrate hitting quota at the end of the quarter. The drinks were amazing, the glasses were chilled, and the food was even better. River (bartender), SF local, hooked us up with the best recs & we loved getting to know Albert, the owner. 12/10 would recommend the brisket & mac!!!

Meseros amables y bilingues, sports bar para los hinchas de 49ers/warriors. This sports bar has a good menu of tasty food and beer, several big screens, plenty of seating, and friendly patient and efficient staff that also love sports. This place is in a chill neighborhood w a few bars in walking distance if you want to check out the area. Lalo was working the bar when I visited, is a die hard Niners fan and all around good guy.

The BBQ here is legit. And the potato salad and greens were flavorful and seasoned real well. I love the mustard BBQ sauce. I wish they served Mac and cheese and baked beans. Those are BBQ side classics they are missing. 4.75
