Harrington's, once again opening its doors, stands as a beacon in San Francisco's Financial District, defying the soothsayers' doom and their gloomy forecasts with its vibrant return. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the chicken club sandwich substantial, the tots perfectly crispy, and the Guinness expertly poured. Harrington's return is not just about great food and drinks; it's a beacon of hope for the city's vibrant future. It symbolizes San Francisco's unwavering spirit and serves as a rallying cry for a community poised for an onward and upward journey. This moment encapsulates the city's ability to rise, time and again, capturing the essence of its resilience and the tight-knit community at its core.

Brought in 35 people from work for HH, staff was hustling, food and drinks were amazing. Ownership and Management were all there working hard, this place is legendary, so happy that it's open again!Vegetarian options: impossible burger

One of the oldest if not the oldest Irish saloon’s in San Francisco! Great bar, decent food and wait staff (many from Ireland) are an added plus.

Lol worst service in the district. Food is literally like Chucky cheese. It gets busy for lunch too which I find strange as the food sucks. I used to pop by on my lunch break to see a friend and have some drinks but haven't been back much since she left

Classic SF Irish bar/pub that's been around for forever. Almost always packed around lunch or as soon as the markets closed. Convenient location for FiDi and close to the Royal Exchange which is probably my #1 choice in this location TBH. Harrington's has an outside seating area which is nice.

I absolutely love this place. Their a good old fasioned pub. Which means if you respect them theyll take care of you! No frills irish owned and operated pub, Evan is my favorite bar tender but they all are phenomenal. Im just biased. Haha. Good for the pub seeker not the club seaker.

Good food. Decent prices on drinks and food. I didn't like the huge golden bars at the edges of the tables, makes it awkward when you're eating.

This is THE BEST PUB in San Francisco.

This place absolutely does not get it with service. We were greeted with "we only do one tab, is that ok?" Like a question. So the answer was no. I guess it wasn't a question. She took our order with an absolute "I don't give a f_ck" look on her face. I ordered an Irish coffee. When she brought it, I asked her for cream. She said "it's got cream on it". I asked her again for cream, same response. Just rude. So she brings the bill. I gave her my card and asked her to put $24 on it. She says 3 cards per table. I said "yes, you told us, this is the first card". Then she says "I need them all together". I told her she was rude and she asked if we wanted to speak with the manager. The manager could have cared less. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of other bars that give great service. Try Patriot House instead.

So...do not go here in a group unless everyone is paying cash! They can only do one tab and or 3 credit cards on a tab. 7 people...2 together.....6 separate people...most without cash. 6 with cocktails that they drink...no need for a menu and one wanting beer...Millers Lite ...but having to settle for Coors Lite. When would anyone look at a menu....no food needed/ordered. But the manager managed to point out what the menu said. Soooo instead of the waitress getting a possible 30-40 dollar tip...well....money is money. You're a business. The point is to make money...wtf

Classic Irish pub with warm welcoming atmosphere and all the staples. Good for a bite, drink, or both.

Casual spot to munch on some snacks and grab a drink after work in FiDi. My coworkers like coming here, so I've been here quite a few times. Every time I come, we've always been able to find a table, which is something that can't be said for all bars downtown. Happy hour is 3-6 and includes $25 beer pitchers and $2 off appetizers. I've never ordered a meal here, but I've tried most of their appetizers and personally am a huge fan of their zucchini sticks, which are always fried perfectly. The mozzarella sticks with marinara are always a big hit as well. As for drinks, I usually go with a cocktail or cider. Nothing fancy, but it's not a fancy type of place. Last time I went, my coworkers said they spotted a cockroach in the men's bathroom, so beware...
