Delicious and fresh. We went for lunch today. The salmon sandwich was perfect with fresh fish and a small side salad (extra). My friend had a hamburger and fries. It's a short, lovely walk from the Ferry Building and worth the time.

Hi Dive is my go to spot. The food and drinks are excellent. The spiced fries complete any meal. Whether It's raining or warm and dry there is an option. Service is great. Last time I went my Sister and niece met me there. We sat outside in the sunshine. The umbrellas kept us cool and comfortable. I brought my pup and she was well behaved under the table. I had the F-Line Burger. Cheddar, bacon, carmelized onion. Excellent! Inside feels like a New England Pub, with banquettes and a bay view. Prices are fair. High Dive is just off the Bay Bridge on the Embarcadero.

Being a native of the city, I was always intrigued by the name of this place and always wanted to come by here to grab a bite and have a beer. Well as luck would have it, we brought our bikes to the Marina Green and ended riding all the way to the AT&T Ballpark before stopping here for lunch. My son ordered the seafood tacos in which pollack was the fish used and he said it was quite good. I ordered the salmon burger and was surprised how fresh the salmon was that came with two generous slices of tomatoes, red onions and lettuce and cooked to my request of rare. Unfortunately, I forgot to snap a pic of it. They have outdoor and indoor seating however it was such a beautiful day that we sat outdoors. They only had one server at the time that we arrived around 11:30 but she did a great job on checking up with everyone who was there. Un fortunately, I did not get her name.

What? You want a delicious breakfast burrito, solid drinks, great service, and an entertaining view before a Giants game? (disclaimer: anytime works) Then come here! Casual, laid back, fabulous.

Went here with some friends a while back after a day of sightseeing in SF. My boyfriend recommended it because he'd been here in the past and had a good experience. We got there a bit late and the kitchen was closing soon, but they accommodated us, which was really nice. I had a tasty sandwich and the chowder was pretty good, too. I'm sure we'll be back.

Bad service bad attitude - I wanted to join some friends but just for one drink - was not allowed to order at the bar, and then as soon as I had to go was not allowed to pay either - server refused to split out my one drink and told me to work it out with my friends. Very bad attitude.

Friendly service. Place to grab a bite before or after a Giants game. Great people behind the bar. Good clam chowder.

Cool spot on the water with outdoor patio & music. Nice atmosphere with decent food to go with that cold beer or cocktail on a beautiful sunny SF day!

This is my favorite bar in San Francisco. I live in New Orleans and come to the Hi Dive every time we are in San Francisco. The bartenders are awesome, the views are great, and the beer is cold. Great prices too!

We come here before every single Giants game we attend. Our server (Christal, i think her name was) was so sweet and so pleasant. Great prices and great location. A great part of our tradition:)

Finally, back to the Hi-Dive, I can't count all the great time I have had here, if you get a chance get the Calamari, it is always a winner here, followed by many pints of your favorite beer and cocktails. I am so very happy the Hi-Dive is open and walking distance from BART and the ballpark

6/18/21 Super casual gastropub-ish place with half of the seats outside next to the ocean. Sounded good to us. Too bad their food sucks. 1. Cucumber Cool $11 "effen cucumber vodka, lemonade, mint, soda": I don't remember too much except it wasn't anything amazing. 2. Lagunitas IPA, Draft $7 "petaluma, CA": Solid IPA, which I've had many times. (If you ever go to their brewery, you MUST take the tour. It's the first tour I've ever taken where they try super hard to get you drunk. There really isn't any way you can finish that tour and not be buzzin' like a buzzard, or more likely straight up drunk.) 3. F-Line Burger $18.95 "bun, cheddar, bacon, caramelized onions, bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, fries": So the waitress actually asked how I wanted it done. So I said medium rare. You guessed it--it was well done. Like, COME ON... why are you gonna ask if you're just gonna do them always cooked through??? DON'T ASK. My friend also ordered medium rare or rare, I can't remember, but either way his was also well done. I HATE THAT. Just frickin' don't ask if you're so afraid of serving raw ground meat, right? Anyway, all that aside, it tasted okay. Not choking hazard dry, but not great. (Oh btw, the fries were great though!, but I ain't paying nearly $20 for fries and a mediocre sandwich.) 3/10 4. Cup Clam Chowder $5.75 "side sourdough": Really, REALLY, REEEEALLLY HORRIBLE clam chowder. ZERO flavor. Like ZERO. Straight up watered down cream. Someone forgot the clam juice, broth, or really any kind of flavoring. 1/10 So, the food is relatively expensive, you know... $20ish for a burger and fries, and it's not good either. I say go elsewhere. Oh, almost forgot!... check this out... their "bottles" of beer list = Miller High Life, Modelo Especial, Budweiser, Racer 5 IPA, Miller Lite, Heineken, Bud Light, Amstel Light, Corona Extra, Pacifico Lager, and Stella Artois Pilsner. I think I need not say more... 1/5 #sanfrancisco #gastropub #oceanview #crapbeer #bar

Great outdoor seating on the water! Perfectly situated for people watching. The food is also good too. This is a go to shot especially for lunch.
