It's good if you don't mind paying a lot of money for a giant tasteless patato that is loaded with fat like butter mayo and cheese !if you want a HEALTHY baked patato THAT WON'T DRAG YOUR DIGESTION DOWN I think you should go to a farmers market pick an organic patato yourself and cook it as you like but if you insist in paying sht lots of money for a patato that has bazillion bad stuff in it to make it taste good than I suggest you go ahead and do it , who am I to say otherwise LOL

Honestly, there is a special craving you get for this place. I have been eating here since I was a child and the taste has never changed. If I feel like cutting out the bread I can always have the protein style option or if I want grilled onions instead of freshly-cut I can always order it that way. Even though there isn't a crazy selection for burgers, the food is always BOMB.

Pretty well organized drive through. I don't eat here personally, but one of my disabled clients does and she requests in n out often. The line can seem intimidating, but I've never seen one instance where they didn't keep the line moving. I've only ever tasted the fries and I love them.

The best burgers and milkshakes I've ever had 10/10 would recommend this place every time. My god, the milkshakes are GOOD. They use real ice cream.

The Hot Spud sandwich is fantastic, and the food are even better. They have excellent sides like hummus, cauliflower and cheese rolls.

Went here for a quick dinner. The spuds that my wife and I got were very tasty and filling. This place is also fairly reasonably priced compared to literally every other place I've been to in San Francisco. Bonus: I accidentally left my jacket here. I returned when they opened the next day and they immediately recognized me and brought me my jacket that they held for me in the back. 5 stars for great service!

We ordered a veggie Spud and thoroughly enjoyed it. The veggie toppings were generous, the Spud was well baked and the sauce added to the experience. This is our favorite go to restaurant for evening snacks.

Hot spud was unfortunately a hot dud. Has someone said this before? I went here with my whole family a while back after playing tourist at Pier 39. Only one out of 5 meals was rated as being flavorful. They have limited options for vegetarians and even fewer for vegans, somewhat surprising given the main ingredient. Unfortunately, the bill was still shockingly high. If you're going to pay ridiculous prices for food, there are any number of better options.

Really great cheap eat in this area. I was sad to see this place empty on a Saturday night when so many garbage chains were packed to the gills. Huge potato that will fill up most people, no problem. I got the BBQ pork potato, which was a special, not on the main menu. All the toppings came together perfectly although next time I'd ask for a little less BBQ sauce, it's not really needed. Come here and get some fresh, healthy food.

Awesome place. I'm still waiting for the day when there is one of these on every corner. We tried the chicken and the shrimp, and both were excellent. Friendly, neighborly place, too.

My first time to get my spud I liked it. I’ve ordered the grilled steak and is surprised it’s pretty delicious!!! Definitely I’ll come back to try other spud toppings!!!

Had to stop and get a giant baked potato. Endless toppings. Fun spot to have a quick bite. Really enjoyed the variety. Highly recommend.

It's a good place to eat in the wharf is very affordable and they have a lot of options for toppings and also you can add whatever meat you like on the photo I got the chicken and shrimp spud with extra chipotle sauce. The people are nice and if you work in the wharf they offer a 10% discount you just have to show them your uniform that you work in the area.

Don't know about you, but sometimes I crave a baked potato with some goodies on top. When I do Hot Spud hits the mark for me. It is just a baked potato with various toppings. They make it quick and tasty.

Interesting concept and we tried it for lunch today. As per the name, the potatoes were hot and were delicious. We are vegetarians and the veggie spuds hit the spot. The only minor quibble I have is that, I wish there were a bit more varieties in toppings - maybe some hot sauces, some chopped herbs etc. Maybe something to think about :)
