The worst "grilled squid", there was no kiss of fire on that, the California roll sucked, I asked and paid for tobiko, no tobiko. Not going back.

I hope the food is better than their customer service. I tried to take away twice. Google say that it opens at 5:30. The first time we wait until 6pm and left. People were inside. We tried to call but they just ignored us. Second time I call the day before , just to be sure that the opening time was really 5:30 pm. They confirmed. I arrived at 5:25, wait 15 min and left. Same thing. People inside, we knocked, just ignoring customers. What a shame, because it’s a very convenient situation on my way back home.

Loved this dinner! We were able to walk in and get a table for three. Some rolls I’ve never seen anywhere and the go-to rolls dishes were perfect.

Amazing, very good date night vibes, great quality eats, affordable pricing, and staff is friendly and attentive.Right across the street from an unnecessarily expensive sushi spot with rude uninterested staff.
My favorite sushi spot. I'm vegan and they have a separate vegan menu. I've tried all the vegan rolls and love bringing my non-vegan friends here too. Service is attentive, and very kind. I asked for hot water and lemon instead of tea and they bring it to me every time I visit now. Small and intimate but enjoyable.

Veggies available here, more than most sushi places. My only wish is more mackerel...Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies. Rolls also.
I love this place and don't go as often as I should. It is far less pretentious than any of the other sushi places in this neighborhood. It's owned by a lovely couple that are very friendly, which gives off a very cozy atmosphere. One knock I have on the sushi is that the rolls can sometimes be a little loosely rolled, which can make them fall a part while trying to eat them. Barring that, the rolls themselves are very flavorful, as well as being pretty affordable. They have a good mixture of cheap sushi rolls as well as more pricey specialty rolls. The dragon roll is one of my favorites and I get it pretty much every time I go in. Monkey roll is also another one I get frequently.I tend to prefer sushi over sashimi or nigiri, so I can't really comment on any of those.

I stopped for lunch and they have good variety rolls and sushi. The menu was good and amazing. The service was friendly and attentive. Promptly served our food so we didn't wait for too long. Freshly made rolls. The flavors is good and worth the price.

Good sushi for the price point. Come here if you want a casual neighborhood sushi joint where the owners and staff know locals.Food is good value. Service could be faster but again, casual dining with friendly owners. Atmosphere is fine for a group of good friends not trying to impress each other. It's not a fanciful production, but it's perfect for a relaxed meal.

Decent sushi spot for casual dinner. Located in lower haight, place is intimate but had no issues getting seated at a table on a Friday evening.Menu has wide variety and specialty rolls were solid. Chili Edamame was also a stand out appetizer for me. Would come again / order take out from!
