I was pleasantly surprised when this place popped up on my TGTG app and I decided to give it a try. Haven't had any poke ever since coming back from Oahu 2 years ago. It was a big box of fresh proteins when a variety of fish and shrimp. The staff was very friendly and it was very easy for me to find a parking spot. Will come back!

I was craving poke and decided to see what was nearby on our drive back from east bay into the city and landed on l'a poke. Their online ordering system did not work when we preordered our bowls so when we came to pick them up we had to wait 10-15min for the order to be made. I ordered the tango bowl with white rice and my partner ordered the aloha bowl with brown rice. The white rice in my bowl was so mushy and not vinegar-y at all like how sushi rice is made. Furthermore the whole mix itself was tasteless - I expected more from a signature bowl. My partner's bowl tasted better than mine, but that's not saying much. Overall, cravings weren't met and I probably wouldn't come back to order from here again.

Super happy with the food and service at this place!! I got the regular bowl with salmon and spicy tuna and for the sauces I got sesame shoyu, spicy mayo and ponzu. Shoutout to Steven for wonderful service (and for working on Thanksgiving day with such a positive attitude!)

I'a Poke is one of my favorite poke spots in the Bay Area! It's a walkable distance from my work and is the only place I go to if I don't make lunch for myself. There is a little bit of seating available inside. I personally bring my food back to my work to eat so it doesn't affect my rating. Previously there was one worker (I never asked for his name despite never failing to see him every time I've visited), but now that the place is getting more attention I think there is another worker helping him.Now the food is REALLY REALLY good. The seasonings and sauces paired with the fresh fish are chef's kiss. I've never been disappointed. I always get the sesame shoyo, spicy mayo, and unagi sauce with two scoops of salmon and either yellowtail or tuna to finish it off. The portions are generous and a medium bowl is $16 before tax. Affordable and satisfied? That's what you'll get here. Would love to bring my poke loving friends here some day.

Parking was a little tough, but well worth finding a spot! The bowls are fresh and customizable. You can't go wrong!

Amazing poke, generous servings with the medium bowl. While it's a build-a-bowl, its got great flavour. 10/10 would come back again.

When I went there was only one person working so the service was a bit slow but not their fault. He was super friendly tho. I got the Honolulu burrito and it was delicious! I substituted surimi for tuna. The fish tasted fresh and overall really flavor. It was enough for two portions.

Our go to poke spot in the area for the past year. Best flavors, great selection of options, and good portions of toppings/fish. Highly recommend their marinated salmon/tuna or their spicy tuna.Usually not a long line, if any at all, but that could change as more people find out about it.

Really good poke at a standard price. They should update their website though, it’s says this location is closed.

I love to make my own sushirito. I usually frequent the I'a poke on fillmore and they always let me make it how I like. My first time here. He let me have spring mix on mine even though hes not supposed to. I probably should have let him make me a bowl when he asked cuz just my luck, he ran out if sea weed papers when I get in, and the spamm masubi pappers are a little harder to chew, but I still enjoyed it. He made it how I like so im happy.

Cool space to grab a Poke during the week with a fair amount of parking in the area. The staff is friendly & competent, the space airy and clean, the ingredients fresh, seasoned, and tasty. Not a lot of seating but enough it seems, plus there are a number of spaces outside that are ideal to enjoy a meal.
