Reasonable AYCE HotPot and KBBQ with great meat options, as well as some dimsum choices. Ordering is done on the phone; the 15 minute 15 dish limit is a little annoying but not a huge issue, and the ordering is fairly easy. Service is quick and the options are great. Will definitely be

There are some vegan options but they aren't labeled on the menu (in English, anyway) so you have to ask.Good variety of vegetables, and the broth was spicy as promised.

I recently had a dining experience at IPOT, an all-you-can-eat hotpot and Korean BBQ restaurant. Here's my review, and I'd rate it a solid 4/5:Food:The meats I ordered included the New Zealand Lamb, American Wagyu, spicy lamb, and beef belly. The beef belly was way too fatty, and caused me to feel a bit sick due to the grease. The American Wagyu was pretty tasty, but fell apart whenever we tried to grab it off the plate. The new zealand lamb was quite good. The spicy lamb was extremely tasty when grilled. Additionally, we got the beef brisket, which was good on the grill, and likewise we got beef tongue which was also good on the grill. The seafood was pretty decent, and we got rock cod and octopus -- the fish texture was good, but I wish the broth added more flavor to the fish. There were a lot of good options for vegetables, including tongho and pea sprouts. They were pretty good in cutting the fattiness from the meat. The cooked foods were pretty good. I ordered the lamb skewers (although, limit 1 order per table), fried bread (mantou), and fried pumpkin mochi. The mantou was extremely soft inside with a crispy exterior which paired very well with the condensed milk. Additionally, the deep-fried pumpkin mochi was quite tasty as well.Service and Ordering System:The service and ordering system left something to be desired. Orders were occasionally forgotten, and the 15-minute ordering limit led to large orders, which could result in over-ordering.Additionally, the meat portions were notably large, and after the initial round, we didn't need to order any more meat. We struggled to finish the meat from our first order.Interior and Ambiance:The restaurant's interior was decent, but it didn't quite match the modern and upscale atmosphere of some other hotpot places I've visited. The seating showed signs of wear, and the tables were on the smaller side. Additionally, the waiting area, wrapping around the inside, resulted in diners being seated near waiting customers, which was somewhat unpleasant. In conclusion, IPOT offers a satisfying all-you-can-eat hotpot and Korean BBQ experience with its array of meats, seafood, and vegetables. The standout dishes like the fried bread and deep-fried pumpkin mochi were delightful. However, there's room for improvement in terms of service, ordering system, and the overall ambiance. Despite these drawbacks, IPOT remains a good choice for those seeking a hearty and filling meal.

AYCE KBBQ + HOTPOT HEAVEN. I'm surprised that I'm just now writing this review, I feel like I always come here for the KBBQ Hotpot duo dinner experience. I'd 100% recommend this solid Hotpot KBBQ!AMBIANCE: 4/5. Parking has always been so hard to find, there's plenty of front and street parking but they're typically always packed with a long wait. So unless you go during a slow time or get lucky, expect to park some ways down and walk. When you check in, they ask if you want a full pot or half pot/half grill then you wait to be seated in this open restaurant with plenty of booths and tables for larger parties. Again, this place still gets busy and hence limited parking.SERVICE: 5/5. To order, you scan a QR code for your table and order from there every round. I think there's a 15-minute wait time in between placing orders too. Staff try to be quick in taking the food out to you when it's ready, the only issue I run into every visit is always running out of water and having a difficult time getting water to our table. Other than that, it should be a hassle-free experience.FOOD: 5/5. Being able to have KBBQ plus individual hotpots with a huge variety of meats, seafood, veggies, snacks, and other stuff on their menu is just the best. I'm more of a hotpot person, so I enjoy the thinly sliced meats, quail eggs, shrimp, fried fish balls, and other veggies in my hotpot. There are also good appetizer snacks and KBBQ meats. There's another IPOT in the East Bay, but the SF branch has the best sauce station, especially their ponzu. For dessert, they offer different flavors of ice cream, but I always look forward to eating their Chinese donut with condensed milk. OVERALL: 5/5. I'd say this is the best and my favorite hotpot in the city, so I know I'll always keep coming back. AYCE for both hotpot and KBBQ with a large menu, can't beat that!

These are the rulesCome early. Don't make plans after. Don't order rice - save your stomach space Don't order chicken Don't get the max amount of items at once. trust me - you'll tap out earlyDon't wear clothes that absorb scents easily - cuz it is nauseating when you leave, trust Marinated meats will burn on the grill, start with the plain proteins first. Reduces the amount of grill changes. The objective is efficiency and maximizing on the best aspects of their offerings. Remember that. Also, don't hesitate to ask for small portions of things you want to just TRY! A lot of AYCE joints will give large portions on first rounds to fill you up. Sauce bar - I recommend 1 spicy, 1 sweet, and an entire bowl of green onions and cilantro. you really don't need more than 2 (in a place of excess, don't be wasteful ‍lol) Cold side bar- not too interesting but a newer addition Do combo grill and hot pot for even more variety Do order the premium add on items (Kalbi, crab Rangoon, biang biang noods)Don't forget ice cream! Pro tip: make a matcha or mango float with Sapporo beer Enjoy!

The selection of foods from dim sum to barbecue to hot pot is incredible. It's a great deal - it's all you can eat for roughly $34 (at the time). Come hungry as you will eat a lot and be so stuffed afterwards! You can only order 15 items at a time every 30 minutes. The dim sum such as the onion pancake is actually very good. The floor was a bit sticky when we came however and wish it were a bit cleaner in that regards.

IPOT is such a cute restaurant. Loved their variety of options in their menu. The soups were amazing and the chicken, spam, ramen were phenomenal. Loved the lamb skewers food and the fried chicken. You have a time limit for all you can eat and we also got a holiday season discount of $13.One of the better hot spots places in this neighborhood!

I think I’ve been spoiled with other hotpot spots in other regions I’ve lived or visited so I pot was good but not great. We didn’t like the small amount you can order and have to wait 15 mins to order more policy. Overall the broth was good I got Chinese herbal and my bf Tomyum. They both had good flavor. Mine was lacking spice so i added hot chili oil and some salt to jazz it up. Sauce bar had most of everything you’re looking for. Got seated at a timely manner. Service was overall decent. The reason why we weren’t super impressed was the selection to order was decent but not great. They dont offer bowls to put the broth/ soup in so we transfer everything in our hotpot to a plate and dip it. If you want to sip on soup it’s really hard to without risk of burning yourself straight from the hotpot. The meats were fine but didn’t taste super fresh. The ice cream that was served at the end was good. They did give us some sort of discount. Without us complaining maybe because they saw we were underwhelmed so I appreciate that.

Mid Hotpot. Underwhelming. My biggest gripes: For a table, you can only order 15 items at a time. & Then you wait 15 minutes to put in another limited order of 15 items. - We asked for a bowl to transfer our hotpot broth so we can sip it and obvious not burn yourself. They didn't accommodate. Mid experience.

We had a great time here! We came in at opening after leaving work on a Wednesday and it was practically empty. The food came out quickly and was tasty. Our favorites were the shrimp pasta, hand pulled noodles, and I loved the sauce station! The individual pots made it really easy to eat family style!

IPOT is a very fun vibe and IMO better for a group of people rather than a date night but still fun for just me and my wife. Restaurant is buzzing around dinner hours which contributed to that fun, chaotic feeling that fuels your creativity as you make your own food and live the hot pot experience. Service is great as they are not one of those skimpy all-you-can-eat places that tries to hold you back or slow you down (there is a fee for ordering a significant amount of food and not eating any). The food is truthfully just okay, but I was not expecting a delicacy from an all-you-can-eat. The nice thing about this place is there are, what feels like, unlimited options (meats, noodles, veggies, sauces, drinks, etc.). Would come back for a fun night out with friends but not necessarily for a date night. Also a little pricy, but all all-you-can-eats are. Be sure to come on an empty stomach!
