Atmosphere was awesome, such great vibes. Food was delicious, high quality and very very well made. Obviously the sushi rolls were good, but the appetizers were awesome too!We came as a part of four, were seated immediately at the bar and had an awesome time enjoying wonderful food!

Excellent fish, and the attention to detail really shows off the quality of the sushi and their flavor. Welcoming atmosphere and very polite service. Even the bathroom was comfortably clean! 10/10 would recommend.

Very cute little sushi place - got seaweed salad and a crazy roll and was very pleased with the tempura shrimp in the roll. The plating was beautiful as well

Incredible sushi!I am super critical about my food choices - especially sushi. It's truly my comfort food after a long day or when I want to relax so choosing the perfect place is important. I always fear that the sushi quality may not be fresh or the rolls that the restaurant makes are way too saucy and not appetizing but Sushi Chef blew my expectations out of the water.I went with the Lion King roll and the Rainbow roll both of which were 10/10. *Disclaimer: I am celiac so choosing gluten-free rolls is very important.* I called the restaurant to ask for what substitutions I should make and the lady that answered was SO kind and so helpful. She informed me that I should go ahead and order anything I'd like and the chef will ensure that there's no gluten. They even packed a special container of gluten-free soy sauce and spicy mayo.If you're looking for a sushi place and confused with the hundreds of options on DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc. - just do yourself a favor and stop the search.. order Sushi Chef now.◡̈

This place are quite small, they only have four tables and a sushi bar. We went there as a group for the new year party, and we ordered a lot of food! They were all pretty good! The tofu was very tender and the fried tofu skin was just right. Also the Japanese wings were great, they served it with mild spicy, meat was very tender. Two ramens were good too except the broth was too oily for my taste, the rest were normal good.

So I've only had this place for take out but it does not miss! My only gripe is that it is a little pricey, but I guess it's San Francisco so what can ya do. No more pricey than Domo near me.All the rolls here are great - the lion king, dragon, 49er, etc. They serve up interesting and creative flavors that include things like mango in a spicy roll. And the preparation is always beautiful! Def a great find, wish it was closer to where we live!

Excellent quality Sushi! Took the maguro nigiri, the Toro roll, spicy tuna roll and the super dynamite roll. All of them were excellent. Small place with nice ambiance! Friendly staff. Slightly on the pricier side, but worth the quality. Would definitely come back!

I honestly didn’t expect a lot going in but was blown away. The fish was very fresh and buttery. Every piece was seasoned very well. Around 70 for this nigiri platter, which includes toro, wagyu, uni, scallop, etc. It is not cheap but is very good deal compared to other sushi places in the Bay Area.Agedashi is ok. I’d skip.
