Was very disappointed, have had great sushi here before. Drove far to get here. Had to send sashimi back- was hard and chewy and I felt sick after just 2 bites. Ramen was pretty good. Fish and chips- there was no fish, just over cooked breaded not sure what...?Dragon roll was ok... Great atmosphere love the lighting. Waitress acted too busy for us, with only 4 tables... she was just rude- terrible service all around. Will not be back :(

Great Sushi with a few items that have some Calle 24 influence.

Always love Kazan. Been coming here for years. Fresh as can be and good value with the portions. Creative rolls.Vegetarian options: They have some creative veg rolls and plenty to choose from in the apps and front side of the menu.

Incredible! One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been- selection and quality is outstanding. Service was so friendly and helpful and even brought us variations of uni without asking which thought was a beautiful touch! Thank you!!!Had tuna sashimi selection, uni sushi, miso soup, wakame salad, cucumber and shrimp salad, and T-Dragon roll. Can’t fault a thing! Delicious, not over flavoured or over salted.

One of the very few Japanese sushi restaurants with a lot of veggie dishes: Udon with mushroom broth, fried avocado, and much more. Everything was delicious.

This is the best sushi restaurant that never gets mentioned. The fish is always super high quality and fresh and they have likely the best deal/quality ratio for their Chirashi bowl. Service is always so quick and with a smile. Intimate vibes.

Tasteless and way overpriced sushi and flavorless rice. This place has gone down hill. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

First time here. Called before heading from Bar Crudo. Still hungry. And continue my birthday dinner. Yep, yes so I called.lady said still has tables available.. got there and it was so dark inside for me. Use my phone light to check out the menu. And also saw board menu on wall..which isn't on paper menu.. we got nigiri sushi.. for me it's pricy. But my friend said order whatever I want to eat.. so I did.. surprise items we ordered is real good. Fish on tiny portion under fish slice. Thick raw fish omg. Fresh raw fishes n uni... nothing like what we ate at Bar Crudo!!! Yucky there!!! And halfway through my meal.. I saw the wall dessert menu.. i saw crème brûlée.. not every restaurant in town has. Was yummy but I didn't like the frozen blueberries on it. The sugar crunch on the brûlée was wonderful.. lol.. the appetizer is the fried squid legs the sauce was so good.. half way our meal the place was packed.. my friend said we would come back next time again yay...

Little hidden sushi gem in the Mission district ???. Open at 1130am and serves lunch special Bento box. Great portion of salad, tempura, sashimi and the choice of chicken teriyaki or tonkatsu. Make sure you ask for the hidden lunch Bento box menu when you visit this place! ⭐???

Ate here with a party of 6, we were sat in the back. The service was quick and friendly. Their portions are GENEROUS. So worth the price, poke was tasty and again, lots of it. My friend got the Katsu Donburi (not pictured) and the thing was massive. Flavors were good, but not groundbreaking but still yummy!

The salmon and tuna were standouts here. All the fried dishes (spicy popcorn chicken, the mushroom fries, and the katsu with chicken) were pretty mediocre. Heavy, not good meat. The menu was confusing, we wanted chicken katsu but misread and got a chicken egg over rice dish instead. Luckily, the staff was accommodating of our mistake and swapped out the dish.

The place is clean but a bit dark and has about 12 tables for two and the bar seating. The service is good and it wasn't busy on sat lunch time. The prices are pretty fair. The parking was okay that day, not sure about other times. The food was very good, the fish was very fresh. The kazan was my favorite roll, threesome was good as well and these two had different fish. I love when they torch the top, and it gives that smokey flavor. The flavors were balanced and everything went well with each other. I actually enjoyed the little salad that came with kazan haha I ate it all.
