I ordered the key club spritz and it was way too sweet for my taste. The orange wine was good. Service is good and the atmosphere is pretty good for a date/hangout with friends. The apps were fine - we ordered the nuggets and fries a bunch of times.

A hidden gem for wine and dine in the downtown SF! Having previously enjoyed their sister wine bar of Bodega in North Beach, I was so excited to experience what the same owners had in store for us at Key Klub! The ambiance is dark and moody in the evening which makes it a perfect spot for a girls' get-together or a romantic date night. An ideal spot for conversations over a glass of wine. They have a great selection on natural wines which you can buy by the bottle or glass. Now, lets talk about the real star of the show - the food! my friends and I were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the plates are here. The mushroom fries were perfectly crispy despite the fact that they are drenched in a delicious mushroom cream sauce. The duck liver mousse french toast was a decadent and rich and the smash burger was perfectly cooked. Key Klub has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places in the cities and the mushroom fries alone are reason enough to have me coming back.

Love the food! The burger and grilled cheese with corn are both my go-tos. Oh, and the French dip sliders are the best!!! This is a very popular and busy spot and could use more staff on prime nights, like thurs-weekends. That's really the only reason I can't give it 5 stars. I understand it's a bar first, but it is a bit confusing to sit first and wait for someone to come by (particularly upstairs) to take an order if really the servers are also/mainly serving the bar. I love it here - it's around the corner from me - but will likely reserve my visits to slower nights of the week.

Good thing I ate before I arrived.Happy hour is 4-6pm and not just on weekdays! Had a lovely draft beer for $7 before HH turned into a pumpkin.

Heard good things about the burger and will try next time.Staff are attentive but it can get busy and then the bartenders and waitresses are hard to flag. But you can order food and drink and get it delivered upstairs to your seat if you're sitting there, which is nice.The space is rectangular so if you have a big party, know that seating can be a bit awkward for conversation.

Came here on Sat night. The waitress seated us and gave us menus and just didn't bother coming back to our table for the next 10 min. She even served people sitting opposite to us who came in after us. We are not white people so I have to wonder if she was being racist. Disappointed.

We got some sliders, a burger, and the chicken Caesar salad. I thought the burger was good and hit the spot. My friend who got the sliders absolutely loved her dish and the chicken Caesar salad seemed to be a typical salad. I will say that the salad was the most expensive thing we got and seemed a little pricey for what it was while the other two items seemed like a fair price for the atmosphere. The service was lightning fast, like almost too fast haha I feel like we ordered and a minute later got our food. I would come here again for sure.
