Our family came to SF celebrate our dad's birthday and wanted to find a restaurant that had his favorite dish, Pescado de Sudado. This was the only Peruvian restaurant that had it from what we could find online. The moment we stepped in, we loved the decor and vibes and how proudly It asserted its Peruvian roots. Place totally exceeded expectations. Peruvian classics with killer sazon, standout dishes were the Vaca Frita and Lomo Mar y Tierra. The ceviches and wings were also both very nicely executed. Pretty good portions at overall reasonable price point. The place is set up with a DJ/live band for dancing on weekends, is a good option for salsa/bachata but the ambience can vary depending on the night. Definitely recommend this gem hidden in plain sight!
