I think I would die for KoJa's Kamikaze fries. They are topped with heaps of sweet and spicy goodness, atop a bed of perfectly crispy waffle fries. I'm drooling just thinking about them. The Umami fries are a great choice too, but I personally think the Kamikaze fries are more flavorful and a little bit more my speed. I've tried various other menu items and all have been very solid, but the Kamikaze fries are what keep me coming back.
Listen, I LOVE Koja. I love Koja so much I included it as a picture in my photo dump from SF last summer. So when I came back to visit SF this past week, of course I had to order Koja again.I got the beef bowl, one of my classic orders. But for some reason, it didn't hit as hard as it did last summer. I wasn't sure if it was because I ordered with different toppings back then, but the beef tasted a bit saltier and less sweet than I recalled, which the kimchi only exaggerated....read full review

Such great customer service and the menu appeared extremely enticing. Korean BBQ is a favorite flavor profile of mine. We tried the beef koja which was very flavorful but not a huge crispy rice bun fan. We also tried the braised pork bowl which was slightly disappointing. The pork lacked much flavor but it needed the kimchi it came with. Had higher hopes for this food truck, I would pick the beef over pork!
