Place looks beautiful but they won’t sell you water unless you buy something else too.

Such a cute spot to grab yummy drinks. We went on a Friday at around 9 PM, wasn't busy so we were able to be seated right away. There's a good amount of seating. The ambiance is cozy. The bartenders are very nice and friendly. I love playing pool, and there's one pool table. 3 games for $5. I ordered the Hot Gurl Summer it was flavored with a good amount of spices. My friend ordered the Blushing Dragon, and that was DELICIOUS! I loved the passion fruit flavor. The Save Me a Piece of That Corn was a good, mixed tequila drink. Highly recommend Kona's!

Cocktails here are incredible! Came in on a Friday evening and was surprised how few people were there. A place super close to BART, MOMA and the metreon. Come grab a complex and tasty drink before or after an outing in the area, you won't regret it! I had a few gin based cocktails I am still thinking about 2 weeks later.

Super late post on this Christmas pop up in SF. We wanted to meet somewhere that wasn't too deep into the city and easily accessible from the freeway. We chose Kona's Street Market for a Tuesday night after 8pm a week or two before Christmas. I think it's a great pop up that doesn't have a line out the door where you're fighting or waiting in a long line to order drinks, find a seat or spot, or to take pics. We might have been lucky because it was raining on a weekday so people probably weren't going out. Anyways it's close to 80 and there's street parking nearby. No line, and we got a table and there's a server that comes around and takes your orders which is great. The music also isn't so loud so we can actually have conversations we can hear. The downside is that they don't sell any food. The bathrooms are public sharing all the way in the back. All of the cocktails are about $18, they have a tiki bowl and some shots. We just got 2 drinks each which was like over a $40 bar trip/happy hour. Me and my friend both started off with the Ho Ho Hot Buttered Rum which was perfect for that cold rainy day. We also got other drinks based upon the cup, kind of wanted tequila-- Sharkey's First Christmas, Yule Tide, Merry Spritsmas, and Sippin Santa. They keep inve fort of the cups because people try to take them. Service was great, the drinks were awesome but a little pricey. I'd like to see this place when it's not the holidays but I'd highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a Christmas pop up around the holidays!

This spot is so cool. The cocktails are fun and usually pretty amazing. The staff are sweet even when they're stretched thin across a lot of tables. The decor is amazing, and especially for holidays sometimes, but I think I like even more when it's not. They also have some TVs around to watch a game or make conversation about a movie playing, but where they're not overly distracting. Bar and table seating are equally attractive, and it's close to Bart and downtown. Great spot for a group of friends or a more casual date

Love the people that work here! Super friendly, great vibes, and does a great job introducing the drinks. The cocktails however were below expectations. They were generally well made drinks but not the complex, inventive cocktails that I came here for sadly. The alcohol also didn’t taste of quality. Ordered the old fashioned and the cheese drink.

Me and a group of friends came in December when they had the Christmas decorations up. For service the bartender lady was kind of unfriendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there but when we sat down at a table, our server was very nice and friendly. Their cups are unique and you can even purchase them, the cocktails were just okay I think the best one was the espresso cocktail but they were pretty pricey. Would I go back here? Probably not, I think the design of the cups looked better than the cocktail tasted.

Charming downtown after work (and weekend) bar with a lively atmosphere and inventive cocktails. During the holiday season, the space transforms into a festive wonderland adorned with an abundance of Xmas decorations. The servers are also adorned in their eccentric holiday attire, which contribute to the merry atmosphere. The cocktail menu takes you through a journey of inventive concoctions. From classic choices to the more adventurous, there's a libation for every palate. Service is good and relatively fast even during peak hours. What sets this place apart is its unique approach to orders. While you can place orders directly at the bar, they also have waitstaff circulate to take orders for ppl standing around. The seamless execution of this system, especially in a bustling environment where ppl are constantly on the move, is commendable. How they manage to get the drinks right and get paid is impressive. Overall this is a gem of a spot for after work drinks or weekend gatherings!

They hold your ID hostage so you don’t steal their ugly Santa mugs.

I visited Kona's Street Market for the first time over the holidays when it is decorated as a Christmas pop-up! The decorations were well done and the drinks were delicious! Service was friendly and gave helpful advice on which drinks are the most bang for your buck. We greatly enjoyed everything we tried, and had fun kicking off the holidays here! We went on a Wednesday night and did not have to wait in a line of any kind.
