My go-to burrito spot for those chill nights w netflix & boba lol. I order on the phone or doordash to skip the line. The baby burrito is a good size if you want to portion control, but add $1-2 for the normal size. I used to order shrimp but found it inconsistent in portion & flavor. Chile rilleno super burrito was a game changer!! The big pepper stuffed w cheese is chef's kiss. Try the lengua, it's so meaty & melts in your mouth omg. Their habanero salsa goes crazy. Chips & salsa come w every order. Cash only.

Being from San Francisco, I've always preferred La Cornetta over Pancho Villa, its biggest competition. Therefore, La Corneta is somewhere I try to visit whenever I'm in town. However, I had an unpleasant experience this week; I ordered a burrito via Door Dash late one night, for the first time. I ordered a super burrito with extra sour cream and no salsa. At checkout, I could not see the other things that come in the burrito, just sour cream and no salsa, so I specified them in the instructions by stating: -extra sour cream -yes to cheese -yes to guacamole -add cilantro and onions When my burrito arrived, it was not a super burrito, it was a baby-looking burrito, about 4 inches long. This automatically told me id have a bad experience, because La Corneta's super burritos are usually huge. Then the burrito did not have any of the things that I asked for, including the guacamole, onions, and cilantro. It also did not have extra sour cream, and barely had any. I was extremely disappointed, as I had looked forward to it for months, as I live in another state, and they do not have super burritos. I also was disappointed because I spent $20 and could not even enjoy what I paid for. This was the first time this has happened, as I got 4 burritos from La Corneta the last time I was in town (4 months ago), and they were wonderful! Therefore, I do not know if the quality was poor because it was an hour before closing, or if this is the new practice, but I am extremely disappointed. I initially planned on getting another burrito before I left this weekend, but do not want to spend more money and not be satisfied.

The food has lowered the quality. the carne asada meat was filled with fat and what seemed like meat was a challenge to eat. All fat on three burritos. I was hoping it would get better for the second burrito but it didn't happen, the owner doesn't seem to care about their food quality any more. , and the chips not as good either.

I'll give this place a hard pass. Save your money and make the drive out to san bruno or the mission. I used to go here for 20+ yrs but now the food just isn't the same. There used to be a line out the door but now there's barely anyone in line. The quality and portions have gotten a lot smaller while prices have gone up. Ive seen so much turnover at this place. All the nice sweet OG women have ALL left. The only person left is the older women at the register. She def needs to move on as well. She will cash handle then make burritos or handle the salsas and chips. Ive never seen her wash her hands. It's rare that anyone does at this place tho tbh. A very rude and condescending person. Grabs your money fast and makes a face at ppl if they do not tip or buy drinks, then after they walk away she talks about them to other workers. My wife got a super burrito with chicken and she barely had any chicken in it. All I could see was tons of beans and lettuce and that's a super. She said it took 6-8 bites before she noticed any chicken. There's no point in getting a super when its going to be that skimpy. I got a super burrito and the lady serving me barely filled 2/3 of the ladel up with guac when I asked for a bit more she gave me more but then tried to charge me 1.50 more for extra quac. Mind you she only gave me 2/3 and when I asked for more she gave me 1/3 more essentially the serving I should have got in the first place. Again VERY SKIMPY! I can see why most people only get a baby burrito b/c this place just isn't worth it and a baby burrito is just enough to get you thru if you're desperate or have a craving. This is a place where you DEFINITELY need the salsas b/c the burrito alone taste-wise just won't cut it. Def Won't bother with this place anymore. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! Don't believe me? Read the other reviews below me........ TLDR- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

Food is good. Service can be a hit or miss. Sometimes friendly or not, but mostly the latter of the two. Doesnt change the flavor though. Prices reflect the inflated economy. Cash only at this location. which can be rough. Parking can be tough if you drive. Pretty clean on the inside. Overall good. Dont expect any small talk. Pure business.

Tasteless carnitas and I ordered a super burrito and no sour cream or guacamole to be found inside. Such a rip off.

Every time I come here I remind myself not to come back. Their system is so inefficient that it always takes twice as long as it should to order and get your food. And the food is not worth the wait. And then tack on another 5min to go get cash because they haven't entered the 21st century and decided to accept cards. I can't wait for a decent taqueria to open in GP and this place can no longer rest on the fact that it is the only taqueria in the area. For now, it takes just as long to drive to the mission from GP and get your burrito, which will taste much better...

Across the street from Glen Park BART - line moved quick. Appreciated other's comments saying its cash only. Got the 2 enchilada plate ($14.50 chicken and al pastor) - the al pastor was so flavorful and tender! I would definitely get it again, whether in a burrito or taco. The side of chips were fresh, thin and tasty.

For a place that makes burritos they make a pretty terrible burrito. How is it that when most places except credit card and it's 2024 and this restaurant doesn't is shocking. as soon as I walked in, I can tell they already wanted to scam me when it says prawns taco don't believe it because when they served it to me, they served me really really small shrimp and did not fill my stomach at all. I also ordered a burrito and I actually was looking forward to the burrito since it was hot off the press and delicious then after having to purchase a place that does not accept credit cards I saw that the burrito was 20 damn dollars and I was disappointed because most places can make the exact same burrito and probably better for that price. I don't know what type of burrito they think they're making, but it was not worth that at all, as soon as I told them to cut it in half and want to go eat it, they mean cut it as soon as I opened it all the stuff came out and I was very disappointed and after I re-ordered a burrito, the exact same burrito that they did not cut well at all I ate it and as soon as I finished, I was not filled at all and not satisfied either as soon as I went home I had to wake up three times less than two hours to go drink water. They put so much MSG it's insane they can scam people with confidence. I am very disappointed. They can do something like this to a customer.

Excellent stop for burritos! The breakfast burrito with spinach tortilla is just egg, beans and salsa. Absolutely no fuss. The staff is super friendly and this place is a hop skip & beat away from Bart. So grateful a friend pointed me to it.
