Liked the feel of this place, smell too! Didn't have tables or chairs to sit at the place but that was fine with me! I got the brown sugar boba milk tea so I can't speak for the cold drinks but the boba was really nice! It had no feel of any hardish inside so it was really nice to chew on. As for the milk tea, I made no adjustments on sweetness so it was pretty sweet but I loved it. Would love to try more drinks from here!

The drinks are really good, and the boba is good too. I also enjoy the friendly customer service from the people that work there. They have a wide selection of drinks and it's a pleasant experience. I've tried the regular milk tea with boba as well as the Italian sodas with jelly and they've been good. Very clean and nice decor too. My favorite boba shop in the area.

I can't stop thinking about my delicious iced matcha boba with oat milk! Ready to go back!

Ordered a mango black tea here during the recent new year fair. Extra for boba or lychee, it's already overpriced. The mango tasted chemically and not really like mango, seemed like an extract. Won't return.

It sucks to admit, but I haven't had much luck when it comes to finding good boba in Chinatown. Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that the area is entirely devoid of any; it's just that the few I've tried thus far were less than stellar. Which is actually why I was so hopeful when I first came across Lady Luck Cafe. It's not exactly hidden away (it's in the middle of a block on Grant Avenue), but I can't say I had ever recalled seeing this place before. However, based on the look of the place, as well as their menu, they looked super promising! Such a bummer that it only made my experiences here that much more disappointing... Like with so many other places in Chinatown, Lady Luck Cafe really isn't all that big. There's nothing to speak of with regards to seats or tables and there's just enough space for a few folks to wait in line to order and/or to pick up their drinks. That being said, the menu seems like it's actually grown since the first time I came here, which is just as surprising as it is impressive, given their limited confines. Not only do they have a solid selection of milk teas, fruit teas, teas/tea lattes, espressos, and Italian sodas, but they have both hot and cold versions as well (except for the Italian sodas). -- BLACK MILK TEA with BOBA ...$5 (16 oz) ( Ehh. I ordered this 50% sweet, so it makes sense that this could've been sweeter, but I wish it was a bit creamier and that the taste of the tea was stronger (it's not like anything was overpowering it). As for the boba (+$.50), most were cooked fine, but there were some that felt overcooked. -- STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE...$6.50 (24 oz) ( I was pretty hopeful for this one, as it looked great, but it left me with mixed feelings. On the plus side, the strawberry portion at the bottom was so good - delicious and too sweet. On the other, the matcha tasted a little chalky (had to stir it before every sip). Along with the two drinks that I've tried here, I also had a couple of sips of my gf's PASSION FRUIT GREEN TEA with GRASS JELLY with only 50% sweetness ($5 + $.50). Given how little I tried (didn't even get any of the grass jelly), I can't say much about it, but she seemed to think it was fine (neither loved it nor hated it). As far as service goes, all of the workers have actually been really nice, which makes it even more unfortunate that the drinks have underwhelmed. If they were just a bit better, I very well might have rounded up from TWO AND A HALF STARS. If/when I come back, perhaps things will be better, but I'd be lying if I said they were more of a three than two for me at this point. Sorry.

I order a brown sugar milk tea with boba and once I taste the boba it was very hard to chew and I can tell they left the boba for a long time and did not do a second batch of new bobas due to me also working in boba stores the boba has been left there for more then 2 hours highly not recommended this store and the brown sugar milk tea they added way to much ice and when I’m half done I taste the tea leaf that they didn’t export it out good

This spot is kinda hidden to me. Outside doesn't look like a boba shop. I walked passed it one day and wanted to give it a try! Their latte drinks aren't sweet so you guys can give that a try. Their service was good and helpful.

lady luck coffee is a small drink shop in chinatown that serves coffee and boba. definitely more of a takeout spot than a sit-down cafe. the employee working at the time was very sweet and friendly when answering questions about the drink.// iced vanilla latte with whole milk ($5.50) //the latte came in a cute rounded boba cup. it had a good balance of vanilla and espresso.it was sweet, but not too much; i asked and the employee said the drinks here are not too sweet (or as sweet as starbucks) so i did not modify the sweetness.we took our drinks to go and drank them in a nearby park. i enjoyed my drink and would return. prices are reasonable for SF.

Food - friend and I both ordered strawberry matcha latte. it was really good and it had a ton of strawberries. definitely recommend! you can adjust the sweetness and I did 50% sugar and it wasn't bitter at all. Service - super quick and easy. Order at the front and it came out within 5 minutes or so. Ambiance - cute little small boba shop.

Stumbled upon Lady Luck Cafe in the heart of Chinatown, San Francisco, it is definitely a spot for a quick Boba fix! Tucked away on Grant St., this unassuming spot is a simple yet charming place to grab a drink. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, you’re definitely paying for the prime location. It’s the perfect pit stop exploring Chinatown.Dietary restrictions: They have non dairy milk tea

Came here on Saturday February 24 when Chinese new years festivities were going on. It was empty when we walked in but got filled up shortly after. I am not a regular Boba drinker but really enjoyed the brown sugar milk Boba. Very good prices and have milk alternatives.

love their iced boba lattes and it’s the only one i get. just don’t go for boba right when they open. there won’t be boba for an hour hence why i gave 4 stars. i do wish that they were open for longer
