italian food, yeah, very delicious. Visited on Sat I believe. Prices were fair. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

So this is a pop- up booth selling bombolinis - Italian deep- fried donuts filled with jelly or velvety smooth, and luscious pastry cream. It is better to get them fresh especially in the early morning. This is only available during Saturday's SF Ferry Building Farmer's Market at 9am. This pop- up is located at the left- hand corner of The Specialty Store. There is another pop- up selling handmade kettle chips in a variety of flavors (vidalia onion, truffle, sour cream & chives, sea salt). More on the kettle-cooked chips on another post. So I bought 3 bombolinis: pistachio cream, lemon cream & raspberry jelly. OMG! The pastry creams like lemon and pistachio are out of this world & so amazing. A velvety smooth pistachio pastry cream was divine in a soft donut. The donut was ok- meh. I wish they could have improved on the donut recipe. The donuts were a great starter for the Chikorita event. But I was looking forward eating the pistachio donut, and was satisfied. Highly recommend the pistachio and lemon cream.

Bomboloni: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: Not too bad for a sweet treat. But perhaps maybe because they were sitting out it didn't seem too fresh. The extended review... Raspberry Bomboloni: Visually very appealing and decent in taste. The only thing is it didn't seem as fresh when I ate it. Service: Friendly service. Ambiance: This is a kiosk in the ferry building which is a great setting.
