I felt like at home. Everything was so beautiful and delicious. Yogurt pancakes became our favourite. It is incredibly nice to see Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, simit, the flavors I miss all together. ❤️

In case there is a problem with parking, it may be beneficial to choose an in-flight dinner. The place is a little small but cute. The day we went, the weather was very cool and there was no free space for the parts. Staff are trying hard to protect us from the cold. Finally, space was made available from inside. The food was delicious. After traveling from Ankara to the other side of the world, it was very good to still find familiar flavors and see familiar faces. Came an hour before closing and got seated at the bar. The menu isn’t extensive but that’s not a knock - it makes ordering a little easier. We got the Greek yoghurt pancakes, the Menemen, and the trio spreads. Everything was tasty but the pancakes blew me away. Definitely coming back for more.

I went there because it was recommended to me by a Turkish friend. All the dishes were delicious, but my favorite was the short ribs. It's juicy, tender, and has the perfect amount of aromatic spices. It's always popular and crowded, so we recommend making reservations. The atmosphere inside the store is homey, and the staff is very friendly. This is a restaurant where you can fully enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and a stylish atmosphere. Since I went there for dinner, I would definitely like to try their popular brunch next time.

The food was terrific. We've had takeout from Lokma but this was the first time we dined in. Maybe I picked the wrong night to go out to dinner with my wife (Friday) or am getting too old for the hip Richmond crowd which moved in after the book club ladies moved out. Very live place for sound with the brick. A tough place to deaden sound. It's been a while since my wife and I had to yell across the table to hear each other. But then after nearly 43 years of marriage does one really need to communicate with their spouse/ soulmate on an evening out? The food was SUPERB and the wait staff were a very hard working bunch. Would go back maybe for lunch or a different night of the week than Friday since the food was SOOOO good. And choose an earlier dining time too. I'm one of those grey hairs now that getting in before the hipsters is maybe a better dining experience for me. I have to shake my head at those reports of San Francisco being in a death spiral. Plenty of SF residents spending money dining out at Lokma in the Outer Richmond. The restaurant across the street also had a good crowd.

We've had brunch as Turkish breakfast here twice. Both times excellent This was our first time having dinner. All of the dishes were great. Lamb koefta, zucchini “rolls”, stuff eggplant and manti. We had a very good Turkish white wine, a Narince, as well. We really like Turkish food and compare everything to our experiences in Istanbul and elsewhere there. This place is certainly the best Turkish restaurant we've been to in the US so far (tried SF area, LA and Chicago so far). Service was excellent and the value was fine though hate a 5% SF “mandate” on the bill. Just charge more in the menu. Will repeat.

We went to dinner at Lokma for the second time, and it was a wonderful experience. Aussie and Naz were our servers. They made us feel welcomed and helped us choose new dishes and wine. We recommend this restaurant highly. We will be going back next weekend with guests. Yes, it is that good!

Excellent service — so kind and accommodating! The food was amazing and the staff were knowledge when we had questions regarding the menu and wine list. I will absolutely be back!

All of the food was so good, but I especially enjoyed the citrus salad and mashed potatoes. Turkish black tea was ????!

This is my second time at Lokma and really have no complaints other than the server who asked us 8 times if we were ready to order food, 4 times to order small plates and 4 times to order dinner. We ordered 4 small plates among 4 people so we were trying to enjoy it but the server asked us 4 times if we were ready to order our dinner when we still had a fair amount of food left from the small plates. I would say the server was definitely rushing us out of there and turn the table over but sorry, Lokma, we stayed as long as we needed to finish our meal and bottle of wine. For that, the overall experience was 2 stars. At this point, although I like the food, I'm undecided if I'll return. The server was annoying.

One of the best restaurants i have been to in my life- the Turkish breakfast for two is so unique and Devine! Very friendly service and server even gave us a second helping of the eggs when two vegetarians forgot to ask if there was meat in the eggs without an extra charge. Thank you!!!
