We happened on this place on a nostalgia tour of San Fransisco and it was certainly a highlight. Great neighborhood restaurant with fun atmosphere, and yummy Mexican food. We had the guacamole, cheese enchiladas with chicken and breakfast scramble with chorizo. Very fun!

We had ceviche, pollo en mole, carnitas, and vegan enchiladas with a side of rajas. Everyone was happy. The mole was especially good--rich and subtle--and the rajas were perfect, as were the guacamole and the hand-made tortillas, both clearly made minutes before they hit our table. The overall vibe is calm and unpretentious--very clean, with comfortable seats, no loud music, and the nicest paper napkins I've ever seen. Good service that didn't rush us to leave. I wouldn't take someone there for a romantic date but it was 100% for a low-key friend-group dinner alongside a multigenerational family and what looked like a comfortable married couple.Vegetarian options: 4 or 5 vegan things including delicious enchiladas en mole, and 4-5 entrees specified a vegetarian option. For those who eat fish there are at least 12 choices.

Stumbled upon this place for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Had an awesome experience with great service, super fun and lively atmosphere, and delicious food. Specifically, we tried the1. Tacos dorados de camaron- 4/5, one star taken off bc not salty enough for my preference, but served with a delicious tomatoey sauce that we loved2. Queso fundido (with vegetables) 6/5 this dish was the BOMB. So packed with corn, onions, veggies, deliciously salty, and served with colorful thick tortillas that were clearly homemade. This dish was definitely enough to bring me back again. Highly recommend Happy hour prices were reasonable! From 3-5 pm on weekdays :)

We stumbled upon this restaurant and wow it was great! I had the best flautas I've ever had. My husband had the sopa de gallina India- grilled hen soup. So good. Looks like they have a good brunch also. Service was wonderful also.
