One of my favorite Italian places in all of SF! We drive out of our neighborhood to come to this place! The truffle pasta and the pink sauce pasta are the best! They have an outdoor (heater) patio in the rear as well as plenty of indoor seating. Friendly staff and just general neighborhood feelDietary restrictions: Ask the staffKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

My friend said I had to try it cuz I liked the Mona Lisa down on Columbus, she was not wrong. This is an AMAZING little hole-in-the-wall place that is a tiny little gem amongst this city. I'm home and sooo STUFFED ❤️ ? ? ? ? ? (don't forget dessert...we had the cream puffs in chocolate sauce ?)

We've dined there several times...the food at Lupa is simple and authentic Italian. If you're a foodie that enjoys authentic Italian food, this is the ticket. Stefano and his team (Cinzia for sure) are terrific. Look forward to returning in a few weeks.

I ordered the fettucini with mushrooms, and loved it! Hubby ordered the gnocchi, but was not sure what it was. Turned out he didn't care for it. But he loves everything else he's ever had at Lupa Trattoria. He was just trying something new to himself. As always, service was impeccable.

Have not been to Lupa in many years, and chose it for Valentines Day dinner with spouse Our meal was delightful. Our waiter was pleasant, and the ambiance was very nice, even though the tables were very close together. Our salad and appetizer were brought to the table at the same time. We felt a little rushed.

We love this place! Be here before and vowed to return. We went for Valentine's. As many restaurants do for that night, we were expecting more tables squeezed in. NOPE! The food and service is excellent. You will not be disappointed.

The waiters are great! and the food was fantastic. Being a native San Franciscan it is super nice to find such great places do still exhist! Very happy.

Outstanding authentic Roman food, amazing service and small but great wine list- What more can you ask for? We arrived with 6 instead of 5 and they were gracious in accommodating us, great suggestions on the wines, and special-every dish was excellent and I cant recommend enough!

I can’t believe I have not written a review on Lupa Trattoria before. I have been coming here regularly for the past 12 years. This, in my opinion, is the best Italian restaurant in San Francisco. The secret is simple dishes, executed perfect every time.Stefano, the owner maintains the quality of food, service, and wine selection extremely well. This restaurant, truly, is one of the best kept secret in San Francisco.

We had another great meal at Lupa. I mentioned to the other couple that the food at Lupa Trattoria is authentic and compares with small trattorie in Italy ??. The closest thing to Italy without the cost of airfare. Great antipasti, (we had the Tagliere platter and the Grilled Calamari.) We all had a different pasta dish...all' were delicious. Some Prosecco and wine along with some shared dessert made for a perfect evening. This is a can't miss place in Noe Valley.
