Sweet and sour chicken was outstanding. The place is a little pricey but tasty. Limited seating makes dining in a problem when it’s raining. Also, wouldn’t hurt the female cashier to be slightly friendly to customers JM2C.

OMG another one for the books. Elevated gourmet fast causal Chinese. Try the MSG chicken and the jasmine soda. Everything is bomb !!! People don’t understand this is a restaurant that is casual.

I was very happy to have a new restaurant open fairly recently on 24th Street in Noe Valley -- and even better, it is so good. I think it's a good idea if you like spicy food and I do. My favorites are the Mabo Tofu with mushrooms and the cherry tomato chow mein. Also love the little fried chicken bites - Laaaazi Chicken. The sweet and sour chicken wasn't for me but that's a matter of personal taste . The staff is always pleasant. You just seat yourself and enjoy the good food. A great addition to Noe Valley.

Everything I have tried here from mapo dofu to chicken sandwich is delicious no served with a smile. I've only gotten takeout, but people dining in look happy.

I came here with no real expectations and wow, the Chinese food (given this fast casual concept) was absolutely delicious. We got way too much food so we would have leftovers and could try out more of the menu. Tingly spicy chicken sandwich, Mapo tofu w/pork (best dish we ordered - they nailed this recipe), beef and broccoli rice plate, chicken nuggets rice plate, malt Sundae, boba Sundae, and beers: lager and cider made with strawberries and schezwan peppercorns. My only critique was the portion size of the proteins was consistent across all the dishes with the exception of the beef and broccolis. My kiddo had only a few pieces of beef (it was mostly broccolis and cauliflower). We would reorder everything again and will definitely be back to try out other dishes. This restaurant fills a void in SF where a lot of our Chinese American restaurants are a bit tired and run by rapidly retiring elders. When visiting other cities and states with cheaper startup costs and real estate, we seem to lack the new generation of Chinese American food that is run mostly by a younger wave of immigrants (like in NY, Denver, Boise) This place has a simple fast causal vibe perfect for families and is clearly pulling that demographic from the surrounding neighborhoods. My only hope is they open another location in Bernal on Cortland ave.

Pretty good food, I’m sad they took the kung pao chicken off the menu :( staff is not great, they’re just hiring apathetic teenagers?

Ooof. I can hear Uncle Roger crying all the way from Malaysia with this one. I rarely do review updates unless I have a really bad return visit, like this... When the sweet & sour cravings hit, we decided to hit up Mamahuhu (Mister Jiu's fast-casual spinoff). Sadly, the food was so poorly executed on my return visit. No updated pics since we dined in the parklet while it was dark. F O O D * Hot & Sour Soup (Single serving - $6) // 1 star Neither hot or sour, the soup was incredibly salty that we had to toss it. * Sweet & Sour Chicken ($18) // 3 stars Solid on my first visit, the sweet & sour chicken was served borderline cold this time. It was still crunchy tho with good batter to chicken ratio. But, the flavor was all sour and no sweet, while the bell peppers + onions were still raw. * Beef & Broccoli ($18) // 2 stars Five small slices of dry, leathery beef (I guess they don't velvet the beef here?) over a bed of undercooked broccoli swimming in a pool of salty gravy. * Tomato Garlic Chowmein ($14) // 1 star The noodles were overcooked to mush and had broken into one inch strands. It too was ridiculously salty that we had to toss it. * Rice ($4) // 3 stars Not cooked with enough water, the rice was dry, on the firm side. Overall, the food was a salt bomb, either undercooked or cooked to death with no wok hei. I'm all for paying for Chinese-American food focusing on quality over quantity but this isn't it. Really off night? I hope so.

I’ve ordered takeout and have dined in. The food here is solid for a casual dinner or lunch. I especially liked the Lazi Chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and Jade fried rice - but you really can’t go wrong. The fried chicken sandwich is the perfect amount of crisp, heat, and a touch of sweet. The only gripe I have is that the restaurant is very cold (maybe a draft or air circulation?) so it’s not very comfortable to sit for long.

I kept on passing this place and finally got the chance to try them. Good place that serves satisfying food. Mapo tofu was deliciously rich and spicy classic bowl. Chow mein is my favorite among everything we had. I'll be returning to try more of their menu.

This place is on the smaller side, with fewer seats than their other location, but the quality is still great. - orange chicken: always slaps! so perfectly crispy and tart. the flavor is strong, so it's good with a bowl of rice - mapo tofu: also had a strong flavor, and even the mild had a bit of a kick. a bit on the heavier side than I prefer for mapo tofu, but tasty nonetheless. not sure if I would order again. - boba softserve: I think it's oat ice cream and it was quite light and delicious. it def got too sweet by the end but the sesame seed crunchies were a nice touch. boba was not the softest
