Everything was so good. I brought my mom here for a birthday lunch and we enjoyed every bite. It's very small but very cozy. We felt welcome and at home.

OMGWhat just happened?Go to MaMo restaurant.Have the beef arrepa. It comes with salad.?I couldn't believe what happened to meThe flavor experience was not only startling, but bafflingly enjoyable. What a pleasant surprise to find such a hidden gem in the North Beach neighborhood. I don't know how I walked past it so many times and never even noticed it is right here...Finally, I have a suggestion to share with the Texan who usually gives me all the recommendations for this neighborhood. It all happened so quickly, I didn’t think to get a photo(s) to share, and it was already over.I’ll go back, though—that’s for sure!Selection of beer and wine.Clean bathroom.Really friendly service.Free parking on the street up to 2 hours.Dine in or take out.If you choose to give a thumbs-up ?? or not, I hope you found my review helpful!Vegetarian options: vegan options. salad.Dietary restrictions: vegan optionsParking: free street parking up to 2 hours.Wheelchair accessibility: no step. wheelchair table.

What a spectacular hidden gem. You normally have to be in the mission to get Latin food done this well. Everything on the menu was fantastic. You can tell the owner / operator absolutely cares about what comes out of the kitchen. Prices reasonable and value for what you get is 11/10. Can’t believe I’ve walked by as many times as I have and never tried it. Ty for having me and cheers!

We found this place to be highly rated while driving from the airport. It was a disappointment - food was average, service wasn't very helpful.

I am Colombian and wanted some Colombian food. Really disappointed to show up and learn that they've basically reverted to an American menu. Burgers...soup of the day was butternut squash...What?! Too bad bc this was the one place I could go in the city to satisfy my cravings :(

I recently discovered a hidden gem of a Venezuelan and Colombian restaurant in the heart of San Francisco. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are delicious and strong. The menu offers a delightful selection of traditional dishes, with the catch of the day (pez mamo) being an absolute standout. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious taste of Venezuela and Colombia, grab a reservation here you for a small group and you won't be disappointed.

Small bit cute place!! Great music and the food is great! Waitstaff is also very kind.

I recommend MaMo. Very authentic Venezuelan cuisine. Good size portion and surprisingly reasonable prices (considering their Marina location). There hamburger, empanada, and salad were absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection. The fried cheese is not my thing but my teenage son Loved the cheese and sauce. We'll definitely be back the next time we are in the marina district.

I ate here a couple weeks ago. It's a pretty small restaurant with decent food. Some vegan options.

An absolute must-visit in San Francisco! I'm not entirely sure about its popularity, but I believe this place doesn't receive the recognition it deserves. I sampled five different dishes, and each one was incredibly delightful. The restaurant itself is cozy and doesn't have much seating, so I'd recommend giving them a call in advance to secure a spot. They'll readily make a reservation for you if it's available. The dishes exude a refreshing quality, leaving you feeling light and satisfied, without any heaviness. It's evident that everything is expertly prepared. I would happily return to this place countless times and wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends!

I made a reservation two weeks ago to celebrate my birthday with family that are visiting from San Diego. When we arrived at the restaurant this evening, the hostess told us that the only available seating was outside (no heaters). This is not how you run a business, specifically when a reservation has been made weeks prior. Very disappointed.
