Absolutely incredible. A friend and I stopped in to get dinner to take home for our families. I got the bolognese for my family and the vegetarian mushroom for myself and it was SO GOOD. The salad and bread that came with were so fresh. The tiramisu was the perfect dessert.I took it home cold and heated in the over per the instructions of the person who helped us. Who by the way, treated us like family!! I told him I had a long drive home and he gave me a water for my drive. I will be back. Customer for life.Vegetarian options: Best vegetarian lasagna I’ve EVER had. I got the mushroom one and it was incredible.

Such great lasagna! Great flavors, and very thin sheets of pasta keep it light.

The waiter/owner is very rude. He seems to think he’s doing you a favor by serving you his lasagna.

The lasagna here is indeed special. It might be a bit pricey to my standard but you got a solid, in fact, special lasagna. It is definitely bold yet have the light feeling that you can enjoy the whole way through. The most unique feature of the lasagna here is that it is crispy at the bottom. I asked the shop owner and he did not reveal the secret. I tried tiramisu and it is good as well. When I looked at it, it though it was dry. However, when I tasted it, it was moist enough for you to enjoy, but the fullness of cheese filled your mouth. It is a small cup of tiramisu but it is rich enough that you should share with someone else. In any event, this place is great and the shop owner is very friendly. If you are craving for lasagna, you can come here. Oh the pasta looks amazing too. I should try it next time.

I practically skip down the street when I make plans to go to Marcella's. From the cute outdoor seating area to the friendly staff, Marcella's is one of my go-to spots for lunch in the city. While they have many delicious dishes to choose from, I always (always) choose the Bianca - it's such a unique, rich lasagna that I find irresistible.

Wow! After a long long time I've had a banger of a meal in SF!Tried the Abruzzo & mushroom lasagna, both were outstanding and a caprese salad. Fabulous lasagna! There's a small wait and if you're sitting outdoors the food cools too quickly but the place is a revelation.

Best Lasagna I have ever had in my life. Used to come here all the time and haven't been back in about 5 years. Food is still amazing, my favorite place to go when I'm in the area.

I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch after a morning climbing at Dogpatch Boulders. We got to the restaurant around 1:15pm, and waited around 10-15 minutes to be seated. The restaurant itself has very limited seats, about enough for 10-12 people. They technically close at 1:45PM, but we were able to sit to 2PM, so I assume they just stop taking new orders/seating at 1:45PM.My friend ordered their abruzzo lasagna (spicy sausage), and I had the mushroom. They came with a small bread basket, and a side of green salad which was well dressed and flavorful. The lasagna portions came out in individual pans, and were a decent size. The lasagna sheets were fairly thin, and the cheese and sauce used were both flavorful and not very heavy, so it didn't feel like you were weighed down after finishing the portion. All in all, a lovely spot for some good Italian food.Parking: There is only street parking in the area, which can be difficult, depending on what time you arrive. But you should be able to find a spot within a 5-10 minute walk without too much issue
