My husband Pat and I (kim) always look forward to our visits to Marina Lounge. Bartender Peter greets us like great friends! Patrons are always friendly. We enjoy our conversations with the clientele. As visitors from Sonora they offer great places to enjoy meals and there are many delightful places in neighborhood serving a variety of steak, Asian, Peruvian, burgers etc. Never disappointed. All in walking the close neighborhood. But we shout out to our bartender friend, Peter, for adding fun to our visit. Best part we feel safe in the neighborhood.

I always enjoy just walking into a place ... just off the street. You are walking by and impulsively you just go in. The regulars are playing Yahtzee and the all the tv s have college football. Now how is that for ambiance. ? Mike the bartender was friendly and you could tell he likes being there. Although I didn't order any food I'll be back to see how their menu stacks up. Did I mention that this would be a cool place to catch a Giants game?

People might lead you to the horseshoe for a "dive bar" in Marina/cow hollow. Truthfully, this is the only one.. and it's a great one. If you're looking for a no BS bar with good company, this is it.

Popped in (3rd March 2023) for a beer after a day's cycling to Sausalito and back. Really friendly staff and seemed to be a hangout for locals too, who were really friendly also (and didn't seem to mind hosting two invading Brits!). Cash only, but there's an ATM in the bar. Ended up staying for four rounds ?

Local true bar of and for the people. Open regular bar hours not at 9:00 or 10:00 or even earlier like the trendy newbies. This place reflects the history of the area and greater city. Check it out.
