My recent visit to Mastro’s Stakehouse was incredibly disappointing. The service was indifferent, the food lacked flavor and finesse, and the ambiance was underwhelming. The management showed no accountability for the poor experience and treated us like they will pay the bill!! . I strongly advise against dining here and do not waste your money in a bad experience.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Mastros last night. Despite our reservation, we waited over 30 minutes to be seated. The service was sluggish and inattentive; our server seemed overwhelmed and forgot to bring our drinks until we reminded him twice. The food, when it finally arrived, was mediocre at best. My steak was overcooked and lacked flavor. To top it off, the noise level was so high that we could barely have a conversation. We were hoping for a pleasant evening out, but it was frustrating and unsatisfying.Definitely not returning or recommending this place.

Awesome restaurant. Excellent service. Great wine selection. Some really good entertainment. And the foood!! Look at the size of the prawns. I was not in the mood for steak so I had the swordfish. I know it’s tends to a thicker and dryer fish. But they cooked it perfectly and it was juicy inside. Definitely recommend. Included a pic of a KC strip. Everyone thought the food was amazing.

It's a steakhouse, so eat steak. I was surprised that the salad was not tasty and overall it was salty.. But everything was forgiven when I ate the meat at the end haha. The steak was crispy on the outside and bursting with juicy flavor on the inside.

We hosted a dinner for nine, and I was surprised by how poorly Mastro's handled it. While the food was quite good, the service was terrible. Our waiter was incredibly slow; I don't think he even stopped by to say hello until we'd been seated for 20 minutes. We weren't able to order until we'd been seated for over an hour, and they were out of lots of items: Salmon? Out. 8 oz filet? Out. etc. Long after we ordered, another Mastros server came by to tell the person next to me that his Seabass was out, but they could bring salmon instead? I pointed out that our server told us there was no salmon. That turned out to be untrue, they had it. By the time we had finished our meals and the server asked if we wanted dessert, we had been seated for 2.5 hours, none of which was due to delays on our part; the service was just super slow. We had two people leave before the meal came to the table, as they simply ran out of time. Maybe it was an understaffed night, and I will say that the actual food was very good, but the service was bad. I wouldn't go back.

The FOOD, atmosphere and staff were amazing! I felt welcome and catered to. The staff went above and beyond and always made sure everything was perfect.

Came to celebrate an anniversary, and it was such a great experience! The ambiance was perfect and the lighting in the dining area made it so romantic. The food was delicious and the dessert was out of this world. Definitely recommend!

Serve was cordial but very slow even though we were there early and few people in the place. The music was way too loud, difficult to carry on a conversation. Food was good but nothing special for the price.
Certainly an above-average dining experience, but not exceptional, and for the price, I had higher expectations. The non-entrees were super tasty and fabulous, but the main entrees left a bit to be desired in terms of flavor and preparation. The atmosphere was nice and classy, the live singer was quite good and very much in the background for better and worse, and the service was really on point. I'm open to coming back especially if I'm not the one paying, but it wasn't an OMG-type dining experience for us.

Mastro's is good for a special occasion or celebration. The food is not farm to table -- it's more of a high quality steakhouse feel. The steaks are cooked well and sides are very good. This is not a cheap place but you can buy discounted Landry's gift cards which Mastro's accepts. These can be found online for resale.
