What can I say about this place. It’s tried and true, been around for years. The metro cheesesteak just combines that savory, cheesy, spicy flavor perfectly. Bun is soft and doesn’t fall apart. Tater-tots are hot and crispy. You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped by for lunch today and had a cheese steak hoagie. Excellent sandwhich!! It had been quite awhile since i had eaten here, but still quality ingredients and nice service. I'll be back for sure

Nasty food, nasty service, just straight nasty. I called to specify my order, a steak with no peppers and onions just mayo and lettuce (like a normal Philly). I called to double check to make sure they know I do want cheese still. Tell me why the guy (which I assume is the owner) goes and says very sarcastically "yeah that's pretty obvious I mean you did order a cheesesteak". So I chose not to argue or saying anything back and I waited for my food to come. Can he explain why it was so obvious that I wanted cheese but he still didn't put the cheese on the sub that was so obvious to do ? Then he tells me he put cheese on the sub and he wrapped it him self and to deal with it through door dash and proceeded to hang up on me. I take a bite and no that's just mayo. And why does the meat look like that ? Like I said nasty service, nasty food. This sub will be launched out the window. Will upload another pic : x

Best real burger I've had in a while! It's a great solid sandwich. The fries were perfectly crispy and just the right amount, too.

Small, no frills "cafe" with great burgers. I had the pastrami cheesesteak which was very good; wife had the deluxe metro burger which was great. Sides of tater tots & onion rings were perfect partners. Will definitely return to try other sandwiches. Highly recommended.

Got a Metro Cheesteak for $13 and it was small, half of what I would expect. It tasted like a cheesteak so nothing surprising.

If there is below zero customer service I would give it to this, you guys should improve your service and your food too, not worth it to try it in a city like San Francisco that has tremendous of restaurants that offers way better high quality food and services. ?????
Service here was pretty terrible. They were unfriendly at the point of sale. After I had traveled to get there because they were listed as open until 10, I pay at 8:35 assuming I can sit down to enjoy my food and then the guy informs me that they have to close early at 9. Would have been nice to know *before* I paid. And they could have taken 5 minutes out of their day to post an update to their hours to avoid inconveniencing people. The food was OK though.
