Absurdly good! The hype is real. Best bagel + lox in the Bay Area if not the US. Better than most any NYC bagels – dare I say this is better than Russ & Daughters! It's up there truly.

Absolutely loved these bagels and cream cheese. Not only is it a place made from passion but when I showed up the owner was in the process of filling someone’s car with food for donation. True gem. Thank you!

Absolutely worth the hype. I've been looking for a good bagel place in SF for two years now and I'm so happy I finally found one. The bagels are crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, and the whole bagel is coated with everything bagel seasoning (it's a pet peeve of mine when the seasoning is only on one side). I will be back many times!!

Pretty cool spot in Dogpatch! Was confusing to find (especially as I couldn't locate the review everyone referenced) but here's a step-by-step of how to find those fresh bagels: 1) Follow GPS directions to the pick up dock (2565 3rd St) which has the address denoted on the left of the large entry way 2) Walk through the big garage-like entry towards the stop sign (see photo) 3) Curve left past the stop sign until you see a grey passenger elevator on the right 4) Take the elevator up to the 3rd floor, where you walk down the hallways following the unit numbers to 308 (I believe it was down the left hallway) 5) Ring the doorbell and a nice bagel man will come let you in (and give you water while you wait) I ordered the smoked salmon bagel sandwich (chose sesame bagel) - slightly spensy but topped with pretty fresh ingredients, including red pickled (?) onion, dill fronds, capers, micro greens, tender lox and a healthy amount of cream cheese. At first bite, you can tell the bagel itself has a perfectly thick texture with a slight crisp on the outside. To be honest, by the 6th bite the toppings got to be overwhelming and I realized all I wanted was the simply iconic bagel and the cream cheese! :) Excited to have tried this mysterious bagel place (which is so clearly superior to the bagel place around the corner)!

My hubby and I spotted their booth at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco and decided to stop by for breakfast. One of the staff members recommended the Salsa Seca with Jalapeño Spread. Salsa Seca translates to "dry salsa" and the bagel has a really nice kick to it! They use Sierra Nevada Cheese handmade Gina Marie Cream Cheese, roasted jalapeños and salt to season it. It's thick and creamy! One of the best bagels I've ever had, just fantastic, 5/5 stars! I would HIGHLY recommend this small business and we'll definitely be returning next time we hit up one of their farmer's markets or check out their store front! Midnite Bagel sold its first bagel in 2018. They are more healthier, easier to digest and have a great shelf life, compared to other bagels! SYOY! :-)

Have been a big fan of midnite bagel for awhile now. Finally checked out the factory spot for pick-up. Ordered ahead online and it was ready right on time and warm! This sandwich did not disappoint- I think I only would have wanted the onions cut into smaller pieces bc it was a little hard to eat gracefully, but the flavor was on point.

Minite Bagel is hands down the best bagel I've had in SF. You've got to get their smoked salmon open faced bagel or one of their bagel sandwiches. The flavors are incredibly well done and the bagel is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Be sure to read the other reviews on how to get inside the building. It was a cool and fun experience. The owner was also super nice and kind. Service was great. Definitely a repeat place for me.

I know it is risky trying an eatery for the first time out of an outdoor food stand. Most businesses are already challenged preparing food in a quasi kitchen setup. So I was prepared to approach the experience with that in mind. Having said that, i'm shocked that this business serves bagels that are tough and hard on a Saturday at the bustling farmer's market outside of the ferry building. There should be NO EXCUSE for not serving bagels that are made fresh (not days old) which is their main offering. We ordered the smoked salmon on plain and sesame seed bagels. We had to return the first order because they were not toasted after we were assured that they were. The bagels for the first order were cold and firm. The toasted bagels were not eatable. The only reason for a one star are the toppings. So much for Midnight Bagels!

Simply amazing! I love Midnite Bagel! If I'm at the Saturday Ferry Building Farmers' Market, it's extremely likely that I'm grabbing something from them and it's a good decision every time. My favorite thing is actually their loaves! I eat bread much more often than I eat bagels, and their sourdough loaves are large, high-quality, and have an amazing, slightly bouncy texture. All of their flavors are great -- the Buckwheat Black Sesame is my personal go-to -- and their sourdough challah is such a delicious and unique offering! Their bagels are also fantastic, of course. I like that they are sourdough, and they have that bagel chew you're looking for. Great with toppings and plain! Their Everything Cookie is hearty, and their Buckwheat Banana Muffin is huge! Their granola is also so good; again, love the sesame. I have yet to try their bagel chips or scone with coffee glaze, but, trust, I will get around to it. Finally, the staff is so so lovely! Very welcoming, sweet, and helpful. One time at the end of the market, the guy who's usually there gave me a free Everything Cookie. It's the little (and yummy) things! All in all, do check out Midnite Bagel! You literally can't go wrong.

The BEST bagels in SF! I love sourdough bread and these bagels are sourdough and delish. Super fresh! In my opinion better than NYC because of that tangy sourdough taste! You can order online or pick up in their warehouse or go to a farmers market. Also, they only had two plain bagels and I ordered three, so they gave me an extra cinnamon raisin bagel today--nicest people ever. I've only ordered bagels to go there but their sandwiches look incredible too! Options for vegans and non vegans!

Tasty bagels, on the pricey side. Their cookies are delicious too! The location is not obvious from the outside, it's located in the kitchen area on the 3rd floor, a little quest to find ?️

Came here to make a major update on my review. I went to Boichik Bagels to compare. Midnite Bagel is now officially my all time favorite bagel place in the Bay Area, and I dare to say it's the most authentic one to satisfy New Yorkers living in the Bay Area

We get bread & bagels from here nearly weekly; so tasty and never disappoints!
