Good value for the money. And the dim sum was nice. We had four different items, three pieces, each, for a total of $13. Was plenty for the two of us for a morning snack. There's really nowhere to sit so we walked about a block to a nice park and sat and ate.

My boyfriend and I were in the city for a reservation, but arrived about an hour early. Both of us were hungry and this spot came up on Google, so we decided to check it out. It was perfect for what we wanted. We had the shumai, shrimp rice noodle, Shanghai dumplings and the pork and shrimp dumpling. Everything was really good and we only paid $14 between the two of us with leftovers! My favorite was the shumai and he liked the Shanghai dumplings. Definitely coming back here again. Seating is very limited with one table and a few chairs, so this place is more of a grab and go type of place. Still worth it!

We stopped by during the Chinese New Year parade and decided to order a variety of dim sum dishes since we weren't very experienced with the flavors of dim sum. My least favorite would be the dish with peanuts inside. I don't remember the full name, but I think it's the only dish on the menu with peanuts in it. My favorite would probably be the spinach dumplings. Seating inside is limited, but there's more seating upstairs which I thought was pretty cool and outside as well. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here would love to explore more dishes whenever I am back to visit.

After a fundraiser event that had me climbing 52 floors at 555 California, I thought I'd reward myself with something carby and delicious and decadent. I didn't quite know what but when you're with two Chinese girls and Chinatown a couple blocks away, dim sum was a no-brainer. While we were in line at Golden Gate Bakery for egg tarts, we were also craving siu mai and har gow. So friend #1 called her mom, friend #2 called her other Chinese friend and both independently recommended DDS. DDS takes credit cards, short line out front and had five girls standing outside eating shrimp and chive dumplings with big smiles on their faces--it all bode well. 45$ later, I scored 6 of each: pork siu mai, bbq pork buns, shrimp and cilantro dumplings, fried shrimp and chive dumplings, pork dumplings, pot stickers. Such a bargain for great food.

I like how the dumpling skins are thin and not too dull. The lady offers mix and match of dumplings- super nice and will come back to mix and match try more things

Ordered some dim sum to go and while the prices are good, I found the dim sum to be very standard and average. Nothing crazy good or amazing but for a quick fix with cheap prices this is definitely a good spot. I wasn't a fan of the steamed bbq pork buns the bread was a bit dry. The filling for everything was delicious and the amount of food we got for the price was really good. The shrimp rice roll order was huge but they only gave us one small soy sauce for the whole order. I liked the texture and how soft the shrimp rice roll and turnip cake was. Everything is pretty fresh.

My go-to dim sum spot in Chinatown and I've tried most. I honestly appreciate this spot because there's rarely ever any like and I'm in and out really fast. The lines at other dim sum spots can get super long. The prices are just like most dim sum spots so nothing special. Very standard prices!

The lady pack it fast and don't need to wait so long! I would say they have the best takeout dimsum in sf and they are so much cheaper than Richmond one! Recommend

My favorite spot to grab dim sum in SF Chinatown, ok one of my favorite spots! Cash only so come prepared and come early as some of their best dishes like the baked pork buns will sell out. My absolute favorite thing to get there is their sie mee go which is a dessert item they have and literally the only dim sum spot I've ever had it. It's gelatinous and not too sweet with a little red bean in the middle. Always crave it and always make it a point to get it!

The food was delicious and for a great price! The service was very fast. A great alternative when you don't want to brave the long lines at Good Mong Kok.

I tried all of their different shrimp dim sum, plus pork/shrimp dim sum. Have been eating great dim sum all my life and these were basically, just ok. Nothing to rave about. Only one that passed the test was the shrimp only dim sum. So disappointed. Expected better for San Francisco Chinatown.

I absolutely love this place. Out of all the various dim sum spots that I've been to in China Town with my family, over the years, this one tops out as number 1. I've been coming to Chinatown from out of town since I was a kid and the quality of this place has never changed over the years. There's literally always a line out the door and it's take out only. Food is always so fresh and you can taste the high quality. Recommend this hole in the wall place! Forever my favorite!

One of the many placed you van get authentic dim sum! Here, you'll find basically a hole in the wall. They have always said that hole-in-the-wall restaurants are the best places for food and this was no exception. Nestled deep in Chinatown, you'll find a small little shop with a LARGE amount of choices for Dim Sum. I got the Shiu Mai and the shrimp balls. A total of 4 orders for $13. Accounting for prices in California as they are, that is a steal! The dim sum was steamed properly, tastes wonderful, and was cheap. It's a shame I don't live in San Francisco or California, or I would certainly come here often.

Just like the store name, this place serves delicious dim sum. Cost is more competitive than a sit down restaurant, and the food still tastes great after a bit of heating in the microwave.
