Yes, food prices are out of control, however, we come here to enjoy a warm spicy tofu soup during cold days in the city. Their side items along with those small croaker fish are added bonus. The best tofu place in the city.
We're often driving back to SF Sunday late afternoons and a wonderful thing is being able to call ahead and order original soft tofu soup to pick up. The soup is TERRIFIC and they package the rice and banchan very very well. A nice plus is that it's next door to First Korean Market, a tiny market with the best store-made kimchi in the City.

First of all, the banchans are amazing and generous. She refilled ours, if we ate all of it The complimentary hot tea is roasted goodness I had the seafood pancake and loved it. It comes sizzling hot. I had to flip it cause it was getting burnt on bottom Son had the tofu soup, extra spicy. It was great Service is exceptional and very nice people work here. $54 plus $10 tip. Beautiful 70° day today, too!
