The price is right. $7.99/pound for fried chicken drumsticks. $5 per pound for noodles, tofu, sweet and sour pork. Good place to pick up food for a party. I didn't order but the chicken wings are $10 a pound. It is a good spot to cater food for events.
New Golden Daisy is my favorite place in Chinatown for chow mein $5 and fried chicken $8 by the pound. I've been coming here since I was in elementary school. Back then, it used to be like $1 a pound. Even though the prices went up, the quality remains the same. Very delicious. Since this place is pretty busy, the fried chicken gets a lot of turnover and isn't sitting there the entire day. They are nice people.

They have special dishes. I have tried two items. One is rib rice. The other is eel rice. The eel rice was of wooden ear mushroom, orange peel to flavor it, Chinese preserved sausage and eel shreds. Very special item. I like it. It’s very folky. I wouldn’t have tried it if it’s not for them.
