We ate at an early dinner at Nick the Greek on Tuesday, March 26 before seeing a movie at the Imax. Arianna took our order and was friendly, patient, and made several recommendations to fulfill our orders. Ariana made our experience at Nick the Greek so pleasant that we will be returning soon. Even if they are a part of chain , they were able to stay in the quality line. I like the meat combo wrap and fries. Lokumades is always fresh but don't forget to ask extra sauce honey, everytime needs extra sweetness soaked into the warm dough to enjoy. I like their frozen yogurt - added baklava and honey if you pay 1$ ekstra.

I love going to this spot after a workout down Embarcadero. It's clean. Convenient and I like their rewards points for returning customers. That's a bonus for me since I'm in the area often. The workers are pretty awesome! Front staff always great meet well and friendly! The food is tasty and doesn't leave me feeling Hella full or hungry. Perfect amount for me and tasty! Tho sometimes I find it not as fresh. Speaking about the meat. One star off that.

Not much meat, and it was dry. Although the food had decent flavors, I was really disappointed at how little gyro meat was included in the gyro plate that I got. The gyro meat was shaved in a way to look like a lot, but it really wasn't...and the gyro meat was overcooked and on the dry side. For almost $18 after tax, the gyro plate isn't really worth it given how little gyro meat you get. Most of what you get are starch items and vegetables. I'm going to pass on Nick the Greek in the future. Miss a lot of the lunch options that used to be in the area pre-pandemic.

I was a fan of their Daly City location and wanted to give the downtown location a chance as it's nearby my office. I ordered through the mobile app which told me the pickup time was going to be at noon. I arrived at 12:05 and it took ten minutes to even speak to someone about my order as the person handling the order was too busy chitchatting with friends. When I finally got someone's attention, they told me I would have to wait an additional 5 minutes for my order. At 12:20, they finally handed me my order which had already been prepared when I arrived and was placed in a pile of other mobile orders. This 20 minute delay led to my food being cold and soggy. To add insult to injury, I choked on and spat out a piece of foil that had been hiding in my gyro. I am saddened by this poor service as I had planned to dine here regularly, having downloaded the app for rewards on my orders. Unfortunately, it looks like I will not be bringing my business here anymore.

Working late one night and ordered the Gyro Plate to my desk. I'd say in general it was pretty average but I think that's because they are known for their gyros and I ordered the wrong thing! The lamb was good but I like my lamb a little bit more crispy. The food gives me the impression of a late night food stop or a quick/cheap lunch. I'd come back to try the actual gyros.
