My new favorite restaurant for a casual sit down! The employees are very friendly. The food came out quick and hot. Prices were so affordable. I can't wait to come back and try other things--especially that chirashi bowl! So fresh! And $2 for a scoop of Kona coffee ice cream to top off a good meal DROOL....couldn't hope for more.

It's been convenient for me to go there as I live close by. Its been many years now, and yes, I always get the same thing and it's always great. Their service is always very good. They will once in a while randomly give you a free "On the house" item just because and so you can tell that the owners care about their business.

Such a great price and great quality. Menu has an array of options from ramen to curry to sushi. The service is quick and friendly, and I love the ambiance here. A quiet escape to the Sunset never goes wrong with places like these!

Solid Japanese restaurant if you're ever craving sushi or bento boxes! My friends and I got 4 rolls to share, my favorite was the double tuna roll! Their fish is pretty fresh, very standard rolls. Nothing super unique but satisfies those sushi cravings! They also serve complimentary green tea and the staff are really nice.

Tonkatsu Lunch or Dinner is smack'n. Chicken Teri & Beef Teri is amazing, oh and try the soft shell crab.

Good food. Service was slow. Had to get up a couple of times to get service. Spacious tables

The interior was redone recently. A new mural on the wall and hardwood floors. It brings a new ambiance to the restaurant.

My friends and I had a wonderful dinner here. We ordered Sushi and Sashimi Tray and a few rolls, I had Tonkatsu for my dinner. Personally, I really like dragon roll because it looks so beautiful and delicious. Fresh food and good service. They are friendly and polite. Especially I really like their desserts, it's more than what I expected. I ordered some dessert to take away after dinner and I highly recommend "Creme Brulee with Frutti Di Bosco", you should try it!! I will come back again and again.

Ordered from here for delivery. We got a spread of sushi, teriyaki, soup, and apps. While nothing was the best version of anything I've tried, for the most part it was all pretty solid. The teriyaki was probably my favorite, I mean it is in the name afterall. Gyoza were more fried than I tend to see, but it added a nice crunch and was full of flavor. Sushi tasted fresh and had a good amount of fish. I have another sushi spot near by that I tend to go to, but I'd consider coming back here, especially for the teriyaki.

I've eaten dinner here several times over the last decade when I am in that area of the city, and it's very consistent but perhaps overall that time some of the decorations like the fake tree in the front are starting to look a bit worn. Food wise, the sushi and rolls are solid 4 so I recommend you go with those or miso, as the teriyaki, katsu and other dinner items would rate lower. Service is really great and the staff is very friendly. Some of the seats are placed next to Windows and glass doors that are not comfortable in terms of atmosphere. Price-wise it's not too expensive for sushi.

They hosted my group of 7 on a Monday, whereas other sushi places were closed. My food was better than expected (after reading reviews), but my friends say their sushi was just alright. I'd recommend the bento box with tempura and teriyaki or anything without raw fish. The service is great, but the restaurant itself was a little older and sticky feeling. Decent option on Mondays but I'd prefer Fuji-Yama ya down a couple blocks.
