Great empanada. We even had a Spanish chicken one, and it wasn't overwhelmingly bell pepper flavored for once. We'd get it again!

I bought their empanadas at the Ferry Bldg farmer's market today. It was 3 for $12* and there are both savory and sweet options. They had generous fillings and were pretty yummy. They are not warm when you buy them there so you have to reheat on your own. They definitely taste much better once reheated. I bought 6 in total since they keep in the fridge for a while.*Their regular price is 2 for $12, but if you go after 1pm, they are 3 for $12 in any combination. There are lots of flavor options.

Some of the best empanadas I have ever eaten. Super Tasty! I try to always keep some on hand....

Empanadas are tasty but they often mess up and don’t send the sauces with the order when it’s delivered and even when you ask and add notes, they keep forgetting. They need the sauces! Guess I won’t be gambling with my orders for delivery here again - bummer!

Nucha Empanadas is a small Argentinian food truck/stand at Spark Social in SF. You can order online for pick up... it was ready in about 15-20 min for 4 empanadas on a Saturday evening. Service was standard, our savory treats were ready when we arrived, and we were able to quickly enjoy them at the picnic tables in the general seating area. We got 4 for sharing, unsure of how big these empanadas would be. We weren't exactly full when we finished, but it was still very satisfying. Based on the size, I'd say about 3 empanadas per person would be a good full meal (so we ended up still hungry later). We tried the mushroom and gorgonzola, pepperoni and cheese, spicy beef, and Spanish chicken. I liked all of them, but mostly the mushroom and gorgonzola... all of them with warm generous fillings, fresh ingredients, no raisins (which I don't like), and great spices blended in perfectly. I especially liked the chimichurri sauce on the side, there were 2 kinds, one was a bit spicier, they were both good. The pastry shells didn't wow me (the crusts weren't flaky or buttery) like other empanada spots. Also, they didn't mark which empanada was which, nor were they shaped differently to identify the fillings (like some empanada spots do), so we just cut each in half to see what it was while we were eating. But can't complain too much. The empanadas were overall good, and served in a lovely setting, Spark Social food truck event. I'd gladly return for more.

I've been to Spark several times and never actually noticed that there was an empanada spot until I discovered it! Nucha Empanadas is tucked away within the food truck park as a small stall with an assortment of diverse empanadas that cater to a diverse palate. I ordered the: - Traditional Beef Empanada which consists of organic ground beef, onions, green onions, raisins, sugar, spices & green olives. The meat was incredibly flavorful and the empanada was well stuffed. One thing to note though is that the empanadas are a bit pricey, granted many spots at Spark Social are a bit pricier. One empanada will be $5.75 so just keep that in mind. That being said, the one i did have was very delicious!

Got the spicy beef empanada and roasted eggplant and tomato empanada. Both were amazing!!! Be forewarned, definitely paying SF prices in SF.

Really delicious! There are a lot of meat options and a couple veggie options. I tried the mushroom empanada and I found it to be really tasty, plus they give a sauce on the side which goes really well. Definitely would get it again. *I only ordered one, it's not a meal but I got food from other trucks around to get a taster of multiple things

Had the mushroom empanada and it was fairly tasty. But it's both kind of pricy and not very big, which is always a tough combo. Not that anything at spark social is cheap exactly, but this is a tough value proposition.

My friend had a get together at Spark Social at ordered empanadas for the group. They packaged them in pizza boxes which made them easy to carry to the party area. Of all the flavors, my favorites were the Spanish chicken and the mushroom gorgonzola. The spicy meat ones were good but a tad too spicy for me. We also has the Alfajores cookies for desserts which were both great, though the chocolate covered ones tasted were better because what's *not* better chocolate-covered?

The woman at the window was quite friendly and the price was reasonable (2 for $11.99) They handed them through the window and I took my seat across the lawn. My friend and I both bit into our empanadas to find them cold. Not room temperature, not frozen, but cold to the touch inside and out, as though they pulled it straight from the fridge. I saw them pull the empanadas from the shelf and warm them up in the microwave but they were still very cold to eat. No one wants cold empanadas. We ate them bc we were starving but I wish they'd been hot and enjoyable:/

I love this place! I first found this place years ago when I had a family gathering at Spark Social SF before COVID. I hadn't been back until recently and it's just as good as I remembered. There are plenty of selection for meat eaters and those that vegetarian. I love the spinach and feta empanada. I tried the chorizo empanada the last time I visited. The flavors were good; it was just slightly on the drier side. I added some of the sauce that it comes with to add back some moisture and it was so good. My other go-to empanadas are the spicy pork and the spicy beef. 2-3 empanadas would probably make a meal but be careful as there are plenty of other food trucks in the area.
