I ate here recently. We tried the chicken noodle soup, bejing style noodles with fried been paste, westlake lamb dumplings, and the lemon chicken. Everything was pretty good. The lamb dumplings were particularly excellent. It was certainly too much food for 3 people, so we took a lot of noodles home as leftovers. The serving sizes were large. The waitress was nice, and very helpful.

Those who come here to shop must be careful about being hacked. The consumption is not transparent. There are bugs in the beef noodles. 18% tip will be automatically deducted. The dishes are few and the recommendations are random! Be sure to be careful of being hacked and opaque when consuming here. If there are bugs on the beef noodles, an 18% tip will be automatically deducted. There are few dishes and they are recommended randomly!

Food is very expensive and small portions. Automatic gratuity added without any writing on the menu..we won’t be going back at this place:(

The food was good. But the staff was unfriendly (no one smiled), and the food was brought all at once - the soup, followed by the main dishes in minutes. The onion pancakes came with all of this. They're supposed to be an appetizer. Other Chinese restaurants serve each person the soup; here they just plopped it on the table. It's a small place and it's obvious they wanted us out of there fast. We won't be going back.

This place has been a pillar of the community for so many in SF, including me! Love the authenticity of the food, my favorites being the Mongolian beef, chow mein, and sesame chicken! The place is a little small but has a surprising amount of seating and being owned by the family you just know it's extremely authentic!

0 for service, they have like a timer for each table, it is not a place for dine in, I had a guest, we were gonna order some food to go and some desert, but the staff came and forced to leave fast

Transcends your expectations, fantastic lamb ribs that I've been eating for decades. Consistent, reliable, unique, a neighborhood gem that's just getting better with age

Food expensive, food small portions and not the best qualty! And I feel like I was forced to pay the 20-30% tip. I feel like it should have been 120 instead of 170 for 2 adults and 2 kids

Only option for water was to pay for a plastic bottle. I was confused that I couldn't just get a cup of water. I found them through a recommendation on a 2019 article of "Must Taste" places of SF that raved it was spicy and delicious. Tragically it seems this is no longer the case. Food was alright. It wasn't bad, just subpar. It felt more like eating mall court food then sitting at a proper resturant. Lost star for only option for water being wasteful with a paid water bottle. Lost stars for cleanliness. Kitchen was concerning and each table had the sauce bowl sitting open while the resturant door was open letting fies in. No lid or anything. Each empty table just had one sitting out and open. Still get 2 stars as staff was nice even if the kitchen cleanliness was concerning. Bonus dessert ball was a nice surprise and was the best part of the meal.

Hello fellow readers. I hope you're having a great day. To start things off, if you want to go to this restaurant, you may need a vehicle. A friend and I road public transportation, which took maybe one hour and 15 minutes to arrive. We arrived five minutes before the doors opened. When the owner arrived, they let us in immediately. As we walked into the restaurant, the place looked and smelled clean. We were told we could sit anywhere we wanted to sit. We chose a window seat near the door. The waitress came to our table almost immediately, then she handed us our menus. There were lots of things to choose from, but the menu was not overwhelming. I ordered the combination chow mein, which came with chicken, steak, and shrimp. My friend ordered the fried rice combination, which also came with chicken, steak, and shrimp. We also ordered four egg rolls each. Our food arrived nice and hot, with in maybe 15 minutes, after we arrived. We we're also given two extra small plates so we could share food if we wanted, which we did. Both the chow mein and rice were really good and flavourful. In my opinion, the rice was a tad bit better. The egg rolls we're also good but a bit too crispy and dark on the outside. After eating most of our meal, we asked for two boxes so we could take the rest of our meals home. Each meal came up to about 26 bucks. It was worth the price. Before leaving, I went to use the bathroom. I had to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. As I walked through the kitchen, I noticed there was a bucket of very fresh looking meat sitting in the open. I did not think anything of it until I came out of the bathroom. The bathroom was clean but very outdated. After using the bathroom, I washed my hands and used the paper towel to open the door. I also used the paper towel to close the door as i left the bathroom. I then turned around and noticed a trash can right in front of me. That was when I also noticed that the raw but fresh looking meat was sitting right next to the trash can. I did find this a bit unsanitary. Overall I had a great experience at this restaurant. I give this restaurant a strong 4 stars. I like to rate restaurants in different categories. 1. Restaurant cleanliness ( 4 stars) Meat should not have been near trash can. 2. Hospitality ( 5 stars) 3. Food ( 5 stars) I definitely recommend this restaurant, and I'm planning on going back soon. Thanks to all who read the entirety of my review.
