I recently visited Ono Hawaiian and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the food was okay, it wasn't anything exceptional. The bigger issue was the service, which was downright terrible. The young guy and lady working there had a noticeably bad attitude, which made the dining experience quite unpleasant. It was disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism and courtesy. I hope they address these service issues soon because the restaurant has potential if only the staff were more welcoming and attentive.

I love the chicken dishes here and especially love their macaroni salad! Prices are very reasonable, service is fast, and food portions are REALLY generous. 1 order is usually enough for 2 people!Order ahead by phone and get your food even quicker!!

Phoned in an order. Called in at 536. Supposed to be ready at 600. Meanwhile other walking in getting their order before me. Finally get my order. Get home and open my order... I have a bunch of scraps instead of full pieces of bbq & katsu both!! I know they look at plates before they bag your order. So two different people working for your establishment thought it was okay to put out a plate of scraps. Awful service and a terrible plate. Very disappointed...

Food was cold all the way through. As an Islander, having been to several local Hawaiian restaurants, it was quite disappointing to say the least and was expecting good quality hot food. Rice was not even warm at all, katsu was so dried out and bbq beef was salty and dry as well. Customer service was just as poor as the food was. In actuality, there was nothing “ONO” about experience today. Doors were both wide open and flies inside the restaurant, completely lost my appetite!Fast forward—->I noticed an older Asian woman sitting right outside the front door of Ono, she decided to scrummage through the trash bin after seeing three young boys dump their empty food plates and I stopped her and told her not to dig through the trash . I ended up ordering her a full meal with some water on the side for her to eat fresh and not find her food in the trash. There’s always a saying, you may not be able to help everyone out there, but at least you can help one person on step at a time.

We ordered a family pack and specifically asked for no veggies just rice as the "veggies" are just pieces of cabbage. Well, when we got home we found an order we didn't request. :( We also noticed that our request wasn't noted on the ticket. They messed up our dinner. Guess we won't be returning there.

Don't order Door dash from them they're very skimpy with the meat. You pay all this money, for them to fill the plate with mostly rice and salad. I could of did this at home. I thought the plates come with mac salad and they give me regular salad, that I didn't ask for.
