Absolutely Amazing pasta dinner! Also the chef/owner came out to shake our hand and thanked us for stopping by. Waiter was fantastic as well! We live to eat, and not eat to live, so I Know good food when I taste it!

Value in their serving. Meatball Spaghetti Sauce was balanced and not tangy. The meatballs filling. Dining partner enjoyed his Alfredo. The garlic bread is yummy but best eaten as it comes to the table for peak flavors of so simple an offering. It wasn't super busy when we dined and attention to us was perfect. I had no room left for dessert, tho a latte would have been perfect. Next visit required to try more.

Not sure who owns this restaurant, but someone forgot to tell the owner it's 2024, and that the menu is still show 2020 pre-pandemic prices...but great for the customers! It's not cheap dining out in San Francisco, but if you're looking for good Italian for reasonable prices this is it This small cozy restaurant keeps the interior clean and simple, letting the friendly, handsome, charming, and rizz-filled waiter be the eye candy/interior decor. $8 Caesar Salad...fresh, crisp, with the right about of caesar dressing and cute little whole anchovy fillets $22 Linguini aloo Scoglio...seafood pasta loaded with Clams, Mussels, Shrimp, mixed Roasted Peppers, Calabrian Chilis, Roasted Tomato, White Wine and Parmigiano, lovely! This would be $25-30+ entree anywhere else in San Francisco!

Good pasta and great value! I work in the Castro, so I came here for lunch a few times and ordered different dishes every time, and each one was great. Service is personable, friendly and attentive. The ambiance is laid back, not fancy, but considering the price, I am very much ok with it. One of best new place in the Castro, hoping they'll stay in business and keep their prices low. I will be back there, maybe even this week

I don't usually post reviews but the pasta was amazing and the service is AMAZING. I forgot to get their names but the servers are so attentive and kind. Great energy all around!

Great local, no-frills Italian spot. The food is very fresh and flavorful and the owners and employees clearly put a lot of care into their work. My partner can’t eat gluten, and they had gluten-free penne or spaghetti available for her.I should also mention that the host is incredibly nice. We forgot both our box of leftovers and umbrellas, and he ran down the street to catch us with them in hand.Highly recommend coming here, and love having this as an option in the neighborhood!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free pasta available

A welcome newcomer to the casual dining scene in the Castro. Offering a variety of delicious pasta dishes, accompanied by friendly service and reasonable prices. However, the space can be a bit chilly as the door opens directly into the restaurant, and they don't serve hard liquor. Despite these minor inconveniences, we've returned multiple times.

The food is what keeps bringing me back. The service is impeccable. You must try the french fry polenta so crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Amazing. Inside it could be a little crowded a little sterile, a little bright. My only suggestion is turned down the lights, some and maybe carpet. Other than that, I look forward to coming back again and again.

VERY solid inexpensive pasta place to hit up. This place used to be a taco shop - so not fancy inside and pretty bright (so not a romantic date place). The waiter was efficient. We split the Cesear salad and the garlic bread. Both fine - nothing out of the ordinary. I got the pasta al Norcina which was a healthy portion (I took half home) and pretty good. The sauce was a white wine cream sauce - so not as heavy as an alfredo and very tasty - for $17 it was a deal for SF. For my money I prefer Italian Homemade (a few around the city) - but would not be mad at all to go here again.

So this place was recommended to me by a friend but sometimes we d be better off to skip recommendations. So this place used to be a taqueria and now tries to go Italian... It lacks atmosphere , the setting is still more like a taqueria and doesn't give you that feeling of an Italian restaurant where u want to spend time. The service was alright, nothing great nothing bad but the food is a far cry from Italian. The penne was drenched and floating in souce, the risotto dry and lacked flavor. Worst of all there must have been something in the sauces as I woke up with dry hands, tongue and feeling completely restless in the middle of the night. Maybe a bit to mutch MSG in the sauces? Yes the bread portion is served plentiful, give you guys credit for that. Would I go back ? NoWould I recommend it? NoEither redecorate and get an Italian ambiance going or convert back to a taqueria...

I can't find anything negative to say about this restaurant and the friendly and attentive staff. The food is delicious and portions are generous. I especially LOVE the caesar salad with the anchovy filets (get the big one to share) as well as the spaghetti with meatballs. The prices are reasonable for the neighborhood.I highly recommend!
