Just out flippin and floppin with my pals Spider and the Scissorman lookin for things like this and that, when we run into Hobo Joe and his little stab, Taco Mary, and she's pounding away on this chicken pot pie like she's starving. It looked soooooo good and smelled just like Grandma's kitchen that I had to have one! Where'd you get the pie, I asked...Pleasant Pies she said...it's right around the corner, they're Amazing...she said.I was straight there, and without the knucklenuts I was with... I didn't want them slowing down my quest for the perfect pot pie. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Buy a box of savories every few weeks, usually park in front 5-10 minutes before they open and wait.Today, the gentleman came out “I noticed you outside and thought you didn’t need to wait until the opening”Thanks! Above and beyond! Brought a smile to my face!

The pies are great. Am partial to the beef and potato pie, chicken pot pie, and the ham egg and cheese pie. The veggie options are also very good. The pies don't seem that big but they are filling. If you like sweets the berry, vanilla, and chocolate flans are all delicious too. Wonderful neighborhood place!

Loved the vegan options, especially the red curry pie special. Can that please be a regular offering? It was my favorite one! Pies were about $6 each and 2 were enough to fill me up comfortably, although I wasn't famished. Will definitely be back next time Im hungry after walking around Golden Gate Park.Vegetarian options: There are both vegan lentil and cauliflower pies, plus a couple of rotating vegan specials that are sometimes available. The desserts are vegetarian, but not vegan.

I made it a point to visit before or after attending an event at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell. Ate the Spinach/cheese and the Lentil/ yam. Both were the BOMB!!! The former, very dense with spinach and the latter a wonderful delight on my senses. Just GREAT! ???Vegetarian options: Vegan as well

Food: 5/5- non-fussy, light and airy crust with amazing filling. We ordered the chocolate flan, pumpkin pecan pie, and the spinach feta pie, all of which were delicious! Great price for the right amount of food. Gets you filled up for the next small stop (somehow we were on an impromptu foodie tour).Service- friendly and quickAmbiance- small cafe, nothing fancy, but just homie enough.

The food was yummy I tried the salad which was very good I'd add salt and pepper to it thou but that's just me I also go the beef and potato pie very yummy it had a lot of flavor. I also tired the spinach feta pie and the garbanzo curry pie. Both very good. The service was great the lady helped me decide what to get cuz everything looked good. The place was nice and clean which I really liked. I will definitely be coming back

i happened upon this little spot and was pleasantly surprised at their vegan and vegetarian options (although no sweet ones were vegan as far as i can tell)! my pie (chickpea/curry/forgot what it's called) was delicious and filling. bummer they didn't have any non-meat soup bc i was cold ❄ but i got a quinoa salad instead that was pretty good! can't beat the price either – it was like $12 for the combo.the employee and i chatted the whole time, as i am on a little solo trip and always enjoy hearing from folks who live in the areas i visit. they gave me great recommendations for places to check out. if i lived here, i would definitely be a regular! (now if you can make a vegan chocolate pie, i'll fly back just for that ?)

Service gets a 5/5!!! The guy at the counter was so friendly and nice! The pies themselves weren't as nice. Maybe if I had come earlier in the day when the pies were more fresh then it would've been better. I got the beef and the chicken pot pie one. Both were just okay - good for when you are starving and just need a quick bite to eat that isn't fast food.
