Coffee is good/reliable. For those late afternoon run, I find the tea selection is limited.

West Portal is the best Peet’s I found. Friendly and welcoming service. Delicious coffee and food. Skip the Sloat location. The team there is surly and acts like they’re doing you a favor by serving a cupof drip coffee to you. The only reason NOT 5Stars is because the corporate management of Peet’s doesn’t keep up the physical space great. Like the Peet’s sign out front of The West Portal store that’s missing the logo on both sides of the sign. Ugh ?- seriously?!Dietary restrictions: GF savory and bakery is delish.

Love Nedim, the manager and his staff. Located in the quaint neighborhood of West Portal and the place itself is a reflection of an old coffee shop in my beloved city.

Everyone's super friendly! My first time at this location and it's 10/10. Drinks were consistent with other peet's locations and the spacious interior is a plus. I didn't think it'd be this big judging from the outside. Felt like a Harry Potter moment lol.

I'm sorry to leave 2 stars but their drip coffee is WEAK, not the beautiful elixir I am used to getting from Peets. In fairness, the service is friendly on a Saturday morning. But making strong black coffee should be one of their core competencies, and they are failing that.

Excellent customer service. There's nothing like a solid Peet's coffee that you can count on any day. Thank you.

i love the coffee here it is always SO good! in specific, Klaryssa has been my barista and cashier every time and she is incredible. she knows exactly how to make you feel at home in the store and have short but personal conversations. she always knows how to make customers laugh and make sure we have the best experience at peets. definitely an A+ spot.

New manager, new signage on walls, but the kind open feeling along with my favorite coffee is exactly as I remember. Still one of my favorite Peet's locations to visit.

A neighborhood spot loved by all. With outdoor sidewalk seating.Great people watching in the center of the action. You can't do that at the nearby Starbucks.

I waited over 10 minutes for a small coffee drink and had to leave before they made that drink. The baristas were not concerned about the time it was taking and gave me a bunch of attitude. I've been coming to this location for years, but will not be back. This isn't the first time this has happened as they seem to have a hard time keeping competent staff

The one star rating is for the poor food prep for deliveries. This location sends out online orders without placing items in a bag, so that food items are literally left on the ground outside your door. Can't even imagine how items are handled by the drivers in their vehicles. For sanitary reasons items should be placed in a cardboard carrier, stoppers or tape over the sip hole, small bags with food items taped closed and not just folded over, and all items placed in a handled bag which can also be stapled or taped closed. In other words prep delivered food items as the stonestown peets does and nearly every other food delivery place where items arrive in sealed packaging.
