I got perilla catered for a party for about 50 people and it was a hit. We got a variety of different meats and veggie options for our guests and of course they all raved about the garlic noodles! They provided utensils, plates and even went out of their way to get us some serving utensils which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely order again for a large party so we can drown in trays of garlic noodles again

Flipped a coin and landed in Perilla. Can’t say I’m mad that it happened but it did and this is how it went. You walk into a huge open space place your order and find a seat. Cashier was helpful in explaining a couple choices but it is a very basic menu.- Five Spice Chicken w/ Garlic Noodles: the chicken has a crispy exterior that is awesome and is juicy on the inside. Garlic noodles are a little dry but when paired with the chicken no complaints.- Beef Combo Pho: Rare beef with Brisket. The Rare beef was very tender, along with the brisket. Broth was ok but oily. If the oil could be reduced that would be ideal.A place worth checking out if you’re on that part of haight street looking for 5spice chicken.Parking: Limited but not impossible possibleWheelchair accessibility: Accessible and spacious but not a lot of tables

Really enjoyed this dish! Especially the garlic noodles. The food was filling enough and lasted me two meals! The service was good as well.

If you order order from this place and they give you a time to pick up add an additional 20 to 30 minutes on top of that….. definitely my last time…. The part that I like best is when they play favorites to particular people who show up….. especially when they’re speaking Asian… they are automatically placed their orders in front of everybody else’s….

Phone number on google does not work. Perilla on Irving doesn’t know anything about this location and how to contact it. Had food ordered and wanted an update and no way to contact and it’s been over an hour.Worst spot ever for customer service.

I've been here twice. The food was pretty good the first time. The second time they ignored me for 20 mins while I stood at the register because they were focused on Uber eats orders. They wouldn't even look at or acknowledge me. I can't imagine why anyone should go

The curry chicken garlic noodle is very good, but this place has gotten WAY too expensive. Please bring back the old value and we’ll eat here more!

This is one of the good or decent place to eat if you're in the area. Or after your tattoo session at Idle Hand (the best tattoo shop in the city, Holly Ellis you are amazing) few yards away. I had the chicken and garlic noodle which I quite enjoyed and for the price I thought it was a pretty good value. Service was kind, I was welcomed and treated warmly. Ambiance was basic neighborhood eatery where you can come as you are as often as possible (as long you pay of course).

tldr; worth the hype! get the imperial rolls and 5 spice chicken Have only heard good things about Perilla, so I had to swing by. Delivery seems very popular (and efficient) here, but dine-in is just as pleasant. - Imperial Rolls: Crispy and soft, and delicious with sriracha or nuoc cham. - 5 Spice Chicken Satay Pho: Huge portion! Soup is reminiscent of bun bo hue but not spicy. The 5 spice chicken was perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. The restaurant is spacious and good for small groups!
