Had to meet Flint McCulloch at the 2am Club in Mill Valley at 2pm and take him out to the Shingle Springs Ranch to pick up a couple of mares and a stallion to take back up to the Hopscotch Ranch....but I had to eat something first. My first thought was this or that, but I settled on the Pescatore Trattoria because the minestrone soup is about the best I've ever had...I'll put it this way...it's Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

The fried food was straight from the bag, there is no bathroom and they made us pay more because we used a credit card without telling us in advanced.

Edit, will leave original 5 star 1 time visit review at bottom.3stars: We wanted so bad for this to be our neighborhood spot, we’ve been here 5 times since the original great experience and each time has made the next less likely… from not remembering our faces, to treating us like tourists/guests at the hotel, we wanted a welcoming environment, somewhere to eat in the neighborhood… we were willing to pay the premium if the food was good and the experience stayed worth the cost… the atmosphere does not meet the $37 price point for the Seafood Linguini… and how does the brunch seafood linguini have more in it (scallops) and yet the dinner Linguini is 40% more expensive… pricing out locals who work during the day I guess…. Asked to add pesto to the shrimp pizza, they charged me $3 and then didn’t put red sauce on the pizza…. What am I supposed to do?? Return the pizza?? I’m sorry your costs are high, but the hotel doesn’t seem to be struggling and it appears you are just price gauging customers. 6 staff on duty for the dinner shift (guessing there is a dishwasher in the back), so overhead appears to be rather low…Chicken Parmigiana, sauce full of flavor, mouth watering and fresh hot. Every bite was delicious. Salmon cooked down with shrimp in sauce was plump and melted into the pasta. I remember the music being fun. Yum!

Very nice dinner experience! We arrived 20 min before their kitchen closes and we were welcomed with a smile. The food and our server, Jose were amazing. Very good service, right on point. It’s hard to find places were the staff smiles and this is one of them. We appreciated ir.We had the zucchini pizza and the beets salad, both were tasty and good quality. The restaurant decor is cute. Music type was good as well as the volume. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. ?

Chicken and spaghetti were bland. No bread/oil served before your food comes out. When the check came there was a mysterious 7% "SF mandate" charge added. This charge isn't mandated by the city, removal was refused, and the explanation was misleading. Place is shady and underwhelming. Avoid it.

Ate breakfast here while staying at the Hotel Zoe. Approximately 11am on a Saturday. Restaurant was fairly empty, just us and two other tables. Servers spent most of their time chatting with each other and ignoring us. The waiter who took our drink order disappeared, someone else took our food order, and also disappeared. Had to wave down a third server to get our bill so we could leave. The food. Poached eggs (in the benedicts) were obviously cooked in straight vinegar, and the whole dish just tasted like vinegar. Had uncooked, clear egg on my plate as well. The side of potatoes was a salt bomb. I usually never actually put ketchup on my breakfast, but had to here to try and hide the vinegar and salt overload that was my plate. Ordered a coffee, small cute cups, but had to ask several times for cream, and was not offered a refill until after we were already trying to leave. So I paid $5 for 6 oz of coffee. Hotel was offering daily credit to use at the restaurant, but we didn't want to even try again on the second morning. Went half a block away and got better food and better service.

I ordered the seared tuna and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were light, but no chunks. My fiance ordered the chicken parm and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Chicken was full of flavor and not dry.
