Excellent service, we tasted quite a few flavourful small plates. The spareribs were exquisite.

From the Salmon Ceviche, to the Paela, FRESH is the word of the day!! Each dish had such an explosion of tastes!! Sweet, Savory, a little spicy and all perfection!! We sat outside on this beautiful Easter Sunday and enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere of this lovely Peruvian spot! A must try - highly recommended! You won't be disappointed!!!

Braised Lamb shank was fall off the bone but on the bland side and i would have enjoyed seeing more of the skin/ fat left on. Or possibly a roast preparation with crackling skin like Filipino crispy pata. Enjoyed the fried rice especially the large Peruvian corn kernels and red bell pepper, but the chunks of pork belly were too dry and hard.

We ordered the aji de gallina, bolitas de yucca, pescado ceviche, and tequeños. My favorite dish was the bolitas. The aji de gallina was good but not the best I've ever had. My friends who are into sweets really liked the tequeños. I probably would not get the ceviche again.Great pisco sour and great service!

Had dinner for my anniversary and my girlfriend is Peruvian so she wanted to try. The food was good and we both enjoyed it! The server we had was very nice and coursed out our meal perfectly with great timing. The only thing wrong with the night was that that the FOH manager walked around to each table asking if everything was fine but never got around to our. Seeing that it was our anniversary and being in the industry I expected a “happy anniversary “ or something to welcome us to our dinning experience but no one came around to it. Food was good but the overall experience was nonexistent.

One of my favorite spots in SF! Amazing food, lively atmosphere, and friendly staff. The ceviches (with plantain chips!) are all fantastic, and the chancho adobado is delicious.

We went to Piqueos for my wife's birthday and wasn't disappointed. The food was superb, the service was attentive and professional, and the ambience was warm and inviting.

We love the food here. I always get the pork shoulder with garlic spinach sauté rather than the potatoes. My daughter loves the lomo saltado as well as the chicken. Lovely servers and tonight a woman chef!

The food was alright but nothing memorable. Did not feel worth the cost.

This was our first time at Piqueo's. They have a nice range of small plate. We had the salad, pescado ceviche, quesadilla de pato, scallops, and mushroom empanadas, as well as lime margaritas. We enjoyed everything. Some particular standouts were the potatoes served with ht scallops, the duck in the quesadilla, and the crust of the empanada that was crisper and lighter than traditional empanadas. We did find that we prefer traditional margaritas to those served here that use sake infused tequila.

Super choice for unique tastes. My only regret is dining alone, if I'd had a partner I could have explored so much more of the menu. I started with the PALTA RELLENA (GF) Avocado, chicken - potato salad. unique and full of delicate flavor. Loved it! Then I went for the duck quesadilla. This was from the small plate and it was not small! I wished I could have shared it but instead I took half home so I had room for the calamari! the server told me to start with one small plate then go for the next. Instead I ordered three as I was hungry! He was right. no worry. I had a duck quesadill for lunch! But sadly it left no room for dessert. Next time!

This is the second time we ate at Piqueos. We remembered the food being better. The vegetable salad was very good, the ceviche was good but very limey. The paella was tasty - not like Spanish paella but with tomato sauce. The Lomo lomo saltado was too salty and didn't come together well - like separate items that happened to be on the same plate. Service was quite good.
