It's the old Pittsburghs but way less smelly! Seriously, the decor and services (bar, pool, pinball, seats) hasn't changed but it's much nicer.

This is not a review, but a memory. In the 1960s, I lived at 47th and Lincoln. My older sisters and I would wait in front of the bar for the streetcar to go to church on Sundays. The bar was always open and the old men inside would throw pennies out the front door at us! We would get a good laugh out of it!

Best dive bar in the Irving Street-Judah Street neighborhood of the Outer Sunset. Live bands a couple nights a week. Great selection of beer and liquor. They have things you won’t see at just any bar. Fun atmosphere.

Love the relaxed atmosphere of this place. They have a cool happy hour for the first 3 hours they are open every day. Great spot to go on weekends after some time in the sun. It's walking distance from ocean beach!I love the dive-y feel, and also the pool table and pin ball machines. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. I loved the old movies playing on all the screens! They switched this off to play the football game which is great too. Great spot in the neighborhood. Will definitely be returning.

Lamest bar I have encountered in decades. No joke. I’m not trolling. And it takes a lot for me to ever even want to post on any forum about anything. If you want to hang with rich 21-23 year old boys, 10 to 1 ratio bros to girls, that think living in SF for a year makes them locals, this place is for you. I’ve lived here since 2001. You understand how many lame bars I have encountered in that time? This is literally the first time I have ever given my unsolicited opinion on any of them. Then again, this place may be perfect for you.

"That's the Pitts!" Amazing little bar in the heart of Outter Sunset, SF! Super welcoming, great drinks, and a bartender that will make you any drink you need! Pool table and great atmosphere! We were there on a Friday night and they had live music! It was and the best vibe!! Totally recommend!!!

This bar used to be pretty scary going by growing up here in the Sunset. But new owners and management has made this my favorite bar in the Sunset. Its laid back, great cocktails, owner is dope. Always a good time here. I think I remember this was like a sister bar to White Cap or they came from white cap. Anyway so come out and check out one of the best.

Pitt's has changed a bit in the last few years but it's still a gem. It got a bit bougier, but still retains its heritage. I was here a few months ago for the first time in a long while and was smoking a cigarette outside, sitting on the curb outside next to a neighboring property's driveway. I was not blocking the driveway but was sitting next to it. Someone in an Accord pulled into the driveway and told me if I ever sat in his driveway ever again he would effing kill me. His words. I was not blocking the driveway. He went into Pitt's right after. So it is still is SF in there.

I don't usually leave reviews, but the way the staff does customer service really made me not want to step foot back in here again. Their pool table and juke box is nice but it's not worth the treatment of their customers. The drinks are OK btw. There are many other bars in the sunset like One Up Bar and Karls Beacon that have nice pool tables and a way better, positive atmosphere.
