Plow breakfast was pretty good, but I probably won't be back unless it's a weekday or right at opening due to the long wait -- the place felt unpleasantly oversubscribed

It's been over a year since I returned to dine here and the overall experience has gone down. The service alone soured my visit so that I won't come back here again. We arrived at 8:30 am on a weekday and were seated right away, but they were rushing us out of the door by 9:30 am. The waitress even took my plate away without asking if I was done! If they'd asked us to leave because of a line, of course we would have left. But there wasn't a line and they didn't ask us to leave, so I don't understand why they were passive aggressively shooing us out before I could finish my meal. There's quite literally 2 inches of space between the 2-person tables so it felt like my friend and I were right on top of the table next to us. This was uncomfortable and I could tell the people next to us felt the same way.The prices have increased and the portions are smaller. I was mildly annoyed when they charged me $1 for a small side of oat milk to go with my $5 drip coffee. The potatoes aren't as crispy as I remember. The food was serviceable but not good enough to justify the other issues I mentioned.Plow is overhyped and definitely not worth waiting in that long line on the weekend.

Unpleasant dining experience. One server was quite unwelcoming and gave us three minute-long lectures about asking everything through a waiter because we went to grab a cup of water ourselves (after no one came to help us for 20 minutes). It’s so unfortunate given how great the food (and the rest of the staff) was.

No one wears gloves when they prepare the food, there was one guy who had a busted nail with black stuff ( dried blood ) on his thumb. The food was grand If you go bring something so your not eating someone's spit or busted nails.Favorite thing to eat there is the huge biscuits w/ honey butter, an there pancakes have lemon meringue in them.Would eat there again if they trying staff and get them gloves so there bodily fluids are not mixed in with the food

The food is pretty good but not worth the wait. The reason they’re slow seems like slow turnover at the table- once we were seated we waited 20 minutes to order and another 20 minutes at the end to pay. In the end was probably 2 hours from when we arrived to when we left when it took us 30 minutes to eat.

The last time I ate at Plow was 7 years ago, and their food still endures today! It's nice that they now offer outdoor seating to handle the volume due to operating in a very small space. I ordered the fried egg on brioche toast, which is a delight. Its clever how they add frisee salad mix that sits in between the fried egg and brioche toast. It has the right acidity to amalgamate the buttery brioche, fried egg, saltiness from the prosciutto, and the gruyere cheese. The chili flakes add the right amount of heat and doesn't overpower. The plow potatoes are absolutely bangers! Salt, naturally sweet potatoes, rosmary, smashed and baked! Yes, please! If you're looking for a hidden gem away from the busyness of downtown, yet have to wait in line and don't mind sitting extremely close to others. Yet want to impress your date, friend, or international buddy with a good breakfast, look no further.
